Spiked? Maybe

Hi
swim suspects that he may have been spiked whilst out clubbing last night but is unsure
First of all, swim had a very long day, got up at 4 am, didnt have any additional sleep through the day, then went out clubbing with a few friends at about 10 pm. Swim had already consumed about 2-3 beers before he left. He had a few beers in town and was generally in a very good mood. Swim then started having a fair few shots. Swim then went to the ATM to get some more cash and his friends came, whilst he was at the ATM swim thought one of his friends burnt him with her cig. Swim kicked off and went absolutely mad, swearing and shouting etc. (swim cant remember much here) but then remembers all of the group reforming in the club and carrying the night on. not long later swim remembers calling his dealer and asking if he can pick up some coke. Swims other friend (none drug user) found him and started going mad at swim cause of it. Swim then turned very emotional (another mood swing) and started saying he has no reason not to pickup, saying he has nobody and then broke down crying lol
Next thing, swim wakes up on his sofa. But swim says he didn't gradually wake up like usual, he kinda just "snapped out of it", like he'd been brought back to life.
Later in the day swim became tired and had a nap. Which is when his vivid dreams kicked in (read a post on here about ghb monkeys experincing these dreams). Swim kept dreaming he was asleep and bad things would be happening, but then swim would dream about waking up. Which is when swim would think he was awake but yet again bad things would be happening, then he would wake up again. Swim says he thinks this happened 3-4 times.
Also, swim has felt very down all day, almost like an ecstasy come down, but that could have been cause of embarassing himself last night.

What i'm asking is, do these sound symptoms of being under the influence of ghb? Or was swim just way too drunk?

thanks

Re: Spiked? Maybe

The person you were talking about, was probably just too drunk... people with GHB usually just use their GHB and don't slip it into others' drinks... there was info somewhere on this website about how most stories about ghb being slipped into drinks isn't true.

Stephenwolf added 4 Minutes and 0 Seconds later...

here it is.... http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/sho...&highlight=ghb

Re: Spiked? Maybe

This does just not sound like GHB. I mean it could be something else. But does not sound like GHB.

Re: Spiked? Maybe

I think the phrase "tired and emotional" probably applies here.

There is also the issue regarding SWIY's coke usage and how that may be affecting the fragility of his emotional state. Read up on cocaethylene, it is the result of combining cocaine and alcohol and is said to be more toxic than either cocaine or alcohol.

The next day depression was more likely induced by the alcohol. Stress can also cause the vivid dreams and confused state.

Spending a couple of weeks cold sober would do a lot to help the brain chemistry get closer to baseline.

Obviously nobody here can tell you *exactly* what happened because we weren't there, but it certainly sounds like SWIY should simply take a break from all rec drugs and give his brain and body a chance to recover. The symptoms described sound like early warning signs.
