Smoking - most effective way of smoking oc's

just wondering about a way to smoke oc's and get the most out of it?

-would u crush the pill or leave it whole?
-if the pill is crushed or whole and put on tin foil as most people mention, do u simply apply a lighter underneath and inhale with a tube/pen as it smokes?
is it that easy??
swim hasnt smoked oc's b4 but would like to try
the way i mentioned wouldnt there be alot of wasteage?and how would u know when u have smoked it as much as u can?

i have seen mentioned that the pill has to 'roll' down and leave a trail or something like that?i know its an easy process but i have seen so many methods and they can get confusing for a very very novice smoker...
also i have seen inhalers been mentioned, can these be used for mj along with oc's if one were to use it? does sum1 have a link to a photo of an inhaler u could use with pills that need heat to smoke?

my friend says she likes to split the pill (most often an 80mg...) into quarters, then applying a quarter to foil (be sure to pre-burn the foil with a lighter quickly to burn off the packaging oil on the foil, oh... and shiny side down!)

anyway, she says put the put the quarter bean on its flat side on the foil, apply heat from below, whilst the foil is slanted slightly. the qtr bean will slide slowly, and just chase the dragon via zoom (tooter) until desired effect is reached. this is the best way to do oxy says she. dont let it "roll," as swiy says... just put it on its flat cut side, and let it slide as it melts. any questions and im sure she'd be happy to answer via pm. enjoy!

If SWIM is worried about wastage he/she can follow the above directions but insted of a pen/tube they can use a empty toilet paper roll holding the roll in 1 hand and the foil with the goodies on it in the other hand over a candle.

chasing the dragon is indeed ghetto, but swim says it's the easiest way. swim says the pill leaves a black ashy residue behind it that would be a bitch to clean out of glass, but swim is only speaking from imagination. The simplicity of foil, swim says, has a high advantage. no evidence once youre done, just a little ball of crushed up foil. swim says once you get good enough at the procedure, wasting smoke isn't a problem. swim also says not to suck right over the chip, otherwise youll get it in your mouth. the sucking power of the pen vs. the tp roll is nice because you can take big long drags with high velocity. at some gas stations and head shops in the us, one may find a glass pen, which can be subsequently taken apart and used as a nice glass zoom. if the technique is developed it isnt a waste at all. have fun and be safe.

sorry for the double post, but swim had to add the last thing... youll know youre done when the trails have no shine left in them. they will look a bit glazed, or brown when you can repass over them, and flat matte black when theyre done.

No offense, but whether or not SWIY smokes out of tinfoil, there's no doubt about it that light bulb vaporizers are "ghetto".

very true light bulb vapes are ghetto...SWIM really doesnt kno enuff about vaping oc's as she/hed rather jus snort or chew but SWIM has made a lightbulb vape with cannabis and figured the same concept could apply 4 OCs as tin foil seems like it would waste alot of vapor/smoke...SWIM wud jus use his vaperwarez if SWIM ever tried

Don't get me wrong, swim knows very little on the subject of smoking opiates, or even pills at all (and it's probably a much better idea to vaporize them than smoke them off tinfoil)! but, when swim was like 16 he definitely made some GHETTO ass vaporizers out of light bulbs.

Whether it's ghetto or not both the foil as well as the lightbulb get the job done.If you want to look non-ghetto then spend some money on a nice pipe.You'll get the same effects but at least you won't look ghetto.(as if it matters)
Really ghetto pipe:
1)$0.25plastic container from the "quater-water juices"
2)pen tube sticking out the side of it
3)Foil with a rubberband around the top to put product on

swim says try it on the foil first and see... he says there's a lot of char/residue leftover from it, and he couldnt imagine attempting to manage that inside a glass pipe. just chase and easily get rid of the evidence, he says. swim isn't knocking other methods, but the amount of "char" or streaked lines of carbon residue left on the foil after just one pill makes the ease of foil more than worth it for ease of cleanup. swiy would be successfully vaporizing it in the foil method. he says just do it right and you dont lose vapor. look at it this way, smoking a pill is ghetto to begin with. smoking a pill out of a lightbul or a meth pipe isn't really going to make it better. if swiy is worried about the way swiy looks when doing it, then swiy has the wrong motivations for doing these things. also, be careful... OC aint a joke. swim knows a few people hooked on that shit. cant imagine needing a couple 80s a day or more to feel OK.

Swim's method to chasing OC:

-tear off a piece of foil about 3" x 6-8", briefly run a lighter over both sides to burn off residual manuf. oils, plastics, dust, etc... turn shiny side down! then grab it with forefinger and thumb on opposite ends and pull lightly outward at the same time. if done correctly there will be a little ripple, or shute for the piece to controllably slide down.
-cut the OC into 1/4 pieces with a SHARP razor or it will shatter or crumble. the 1/4 is the easiest to manage on the foil. the less surface area contact with the foil the better. easier to manage/ less waste.
-lay the flat side (from the 90 degree cut you made) on the foil, preferably at one end, not too close to the edge, perhaps an inch away. apply a bit of heat to get it stuck. just enough to get it to stick so it doesnt go rolling off into oblivion.
-get the pen/glass tube or whatever tooter youre using, put it in your mouth. if youre using a plastic pen tube be sure to not let it touch the hot foil or it will melt and you will suck in plastic vapors.
-hold the foil comfortably, angle the foil slightly toward the hand holding it, with the piece of pill on the opposite side from which you hold.
-strike the lighter, with zoom in mouth about 1/2"-1" away from piece. slowly draw in air with emptied lungs, and bring the flame closer and closer to the foil. the pill will start to melt and slide. swiy will get used to the speed of the slide versus flame distance, and amount of vapor omitted.
-be sure to not put the end of the tooter right above the pill, or swiy will suck the pill into the mouth. try to keep the end of the tooter just behind. with a bit of practice little to no vapor will be lost.

be careful. treat things like these with respect, says swim.

Listen to rhinestonecowboy. Hes right on the money. How in the hell would swiy use a glass pipe for OCs there is way too much black shit when swim be smoking crystal?

Swim is on suboxone now because he would go thru 25 yards of foil roasting beans ( as it might be called here) in about a week. This is the main method of using ocs in a place called something Sandy Eggo.

Split it into peices and put it on its side and let it melt down ez breezy.

One thing Swim has noticed is that purdue makes the best OC to smoke. OC 80 is the imprint most popular ones too swim thinks. ABG imprint ocs work pretty much the same too. The oval ones tho dont work like the others swim think TEVA pharms make em.

In Swims opinion you should stick with the nose tho, lots of impurities and swiy is going to have to smoke that too. Plus while smoking off foil can be ALOT OF FUN it doesnt last half as long. Another plus to the foil method would be the fact that a tiny peice can be used and still get a bit of a rush whereas if sniffed it would do pretty much nothing.

Swim and his friends always used shiny side down and got the HEAVY DUTY foil with no design or bumps. Reynolds wrap boi!

Um yea scrape the coating off too if that wasnt clear.

Swim wishes he never smoked oxycontin. Swim used to snort 40 mg of OC everyday and be happy. Now Swim smokes 180 mg of OC. Swim thinks that Smoking OC is even more addictive then shooting it.

Not to mention very wasteful, it kills a ton of the drug, you would be better off dropping it down the hatch, or better yet plug that sucker and get all of it.

most method waste something ,even shooting leaves some behind,i know cuz swims cat for some reason takes my used cottons and gets messed up.swim even tried hidin one and she found it lol. but anyway has a trade off smoking burns some up while still creating a stronger instant high,
