Highly addictive if no IV, just smoke and eat?

SWIM has always been VERY curious with smack since he has tried codeine. Codeine resembles a weed high for SWIM, except that SWIM's mentality is entirely different. On codeine, everything is perfect and he loves everyone. Is it gerous to consume heroin orally or smoke it?? Since SWIm has noticed that addicts almost always inject the drug, so SWIM is thinking that IV is much more addictive than the other ways of taking the drug.
