Opinions - Trying it for the first time

Hi guys.

I won't get busted for trying or ordering Salvia online will I? it is legal, right?

Me and my friends want to try Salvia, there is 3 of us and it will be our first time doing so.

We are going to be smoking this like a waterfall bong, it will still work right?

What x would you recommend? x5 is supposed to be not very good, right? we were thinking x15 for our first try but we'll leave it up to you guys!

Swim would definatly go with x15 and it should be legal where you are if you are in the states. There are like 3-4 states it is illegal in. The bong should be fine but if u can get a torch lighter it would help alot because salvinorin a has a high vaporization temp.

Depending on where you live possession of Salvia may very well be against the law, until you know otherwise you should assume it is illegal. With that in mind you should make sure that when posting messages here or anywhere else regarding Salvia you do not inadvertently incriminate yourself.

Do not say that you will be using Salvia, say "your friend" or SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me) is using Salvia. This way if it is illegal then you haven't submitted an incriminating post.

I also suggest before you do something which may lead you to fall foul of the law you research the legal status of Salvia.

Regarding your other question, if someone I knew was going to try Salvia for the first time then someone who isn't me would advise them to start with a low dose and work up. Someone who isn't me would also advise them to be aware that it may well take several attempts before a breakthrough occurs.

For the benefit of Someone Who Isn't You, please respect Salvia.

I am in the UK, I believe it is UK right? SWIM knows a website where people can buy it from.

SWIM were thinking that they may try 60x as the first try. Good bad idea?

Saliva is currently unregulated in the UK.

I have read that many suppliers of salvia extracts exagerate the strenght of their product.

The stregnth of salvia doesn't affect how strong a trip one has, it just means that less has to be smoked in order to acheive the same effec

SWIM started with 15x salvia and is considering moving up to 20x simply for his lungs benifit, however he probably could've had just as strong effects with weaker salvia with some practice in smoking enough of it in a short space of time.

SWIM doesn't reccomend 60x salvia to start because if it is legitamate, it would take a very small amount to be effective and incredibly easy to "overdose" and reach the undersirable level 6, in which the user simply forgets the experience (although they may still move around in this state).

SWIM has achieved level 4/5 on 5X, but it took several tries and he only achieved this state while using a bong. SWIM does have some 20x but has not tried it yet as he still has some 5X left.

As SWIM has not tried anything above 5X he cannot say if it is a good or a bad idea to try 60X for a first attempt, and SWIY may react differently anyway. SWIM's only advice is to try different strengths and see what works.

If SWIM hasn't done so already, SWIM recommends that SWIY reads the guide at Sage Wisdom. It's a useful primer for beginners.

Even if there are no negative effects whatsoever with Salvia, it would be a shame for SWIY to have a level 6 experience on their first attempt, what's the point in doing it if one can't remember anything?

but generally, the bigger the x, the bigger the trip. less burnt is less smoke, so tehcnically thepipeman is right, just put into different words. 5x is just regular leaf, non extracted, and wont give you that great of an effect. 15x however should be great for someone unsure about salvia.

5x is 5 times enhanced leaf, meaning 5 times as much salvinorin a as regular leaf.

SWIM finds that with 15x he can have the strongest trip possible (lvl 5) so it's just a matter of preference really at what strength you buy.

does anyone know what the flavoured 40x is like is it as strong as the normal 40x extract the guy its off of said its weaker than the none flavoured
it was cheaper but i dont see how it could be weaker i mean isnt 40x, well 40x, so it doesnt make any difference. or does it?

if you got a gram of it, .9 could be salvia, then .1 could be the flavoring, but swim isn't sure
