Demerol and Normeperidine

Hello, SWIM has recently come across some generic Demerol in 50/25 doses with Promethazine. SWIM has been using them lately, and was wondering how much is safe to do over a certain amount of time? SWIM knows that they cause a buildup of Normeperidine, a toxic metabolite.
