Dose - Xanax (Alprazolam): Enough to feel effects?

SWIM just took some xanex about 30 minutes ago, he took 1/2 of 2mg it might of been 1 mg, will it effect SWIM? Any effects it might give? SWIM does not do xanex much only once a month.

0.5-1.0mg is about what swim uses to start off a social evening, or to wind down after a long day.
As for effects, it depends on swim, really. What doses did swiy use before?

Effects on this swimmer is a release of the social anxieties and feeling very comfortable and friendly in swim's own skin.

For future reference, it's more helpful if swimmers would list the active ingredients in the script rather than a brand name, so this would be alprazolam rather than Xanax.
Also if one is unsure of the contents of a pill, just google the inscription to find out exactly how much of what is in it.

1mg is a good amount of a beginner. The problem is most people who first use xanax feel the initial euphoria created by the fast acting nature of xanax. They then take more. This usually leads to large amounts of lost time.

Agreed with above post. xanax can creep up fast though 1 mg should be fine anymore though and swim may time travel to odd places with odder people, 2mg at most, a good test run.

Swim feels effects at .05 MGs. Usually it is the best at just 1 mg. It has been a life saver for swim's severe anxiety attacks. It works much better than other drugs swim has tried.

Yes, above 2mg the effects become too sedating to be enjoyable. Also swim wonders how a doctor can prescribe xanax bars. HE wonders when people take them dont they get pretty fucked up off it?

Swim just took 1.5 and can't stop hiccuping. It's a strange side effect of taking these drugs. Especially the anti-anxiety and anti-psychotic ones. It makes swim feel a little free, like a little relaxed and calm. Thoughts come more easily, without all the stress involved.

The first benzo SWIM took was Xanax. He took 2mg's. SWIM felt really great then went to sleep and woke up 14 hours later. SWIM misses the days that benzos where that potant to him.

They prescribe xanax bars rarely you don't take the whole thing.. Swim thinks the max dosage a day in the us is 4mg.. swim was prescribe 4mg a day for a couple of years he prefers these blue ones that dissolve under your tounge they are 1mg each

Swim feels .25 mg, a little drunk at 1mg, fucked at 2mg, blacked out above that.

.5mg will do just fine. That's what I take when I get a panic attack or if I know i'm going to get one. It calms me down and makes me the slightest bit "out of it" but doesn't make me feel drunken or anything.
