Urinate through a paper towel?!?

SWIM was wondering if one were to urinate through a paper towel if that would help 'clean' the urine for a drug test?!?!
Do you think it would act like a filter and catch the contaminants?

Does anybody have information on this?

SWIY'd probably piss a hole right through the towel after a second or so.

Maybe use a coffee filter? Not too sure how effective this would be, but it would be a lot more durable than something designed to disintegrate on contact with water.

Maybe swiy should try vaccuum filtering their urine through lab grade filter paper?

Or maybe it just wont work. The drug metabolites for which UAs screen are completely soluble in urine, removing them via filtration is impossible.

no chance, the detectable ranges for illegal substances are in such small ranges it would be impossible to filter it all out...that's assuming a paper towel would have the filtering power to do such a thing...which it wouldn't. It would be like trying to get the sugar out of coca-cola by filtering...

Exactly! And god knows what the detergents/dyes in the towels would add to the brew. They might decide you're radioactive and build a lead wall around you/your house.

What about boiling your urine? Instead of getting a friends clean urine (If SWIM does drugs, it is a very good chance SWIM'S friends do too and they wouldn't be able to give a clean sample)- Will boiling it (in a pot you will never use for any other purpose) get the contaminants out?

SWIM is thinking of other ways to get clean urine samples...

Boiling it will likely cause a change in the urine that would result in a misread on the dip test.

The only way to you clean SWIY's urine is to get the drugs etc out of their system via time. Cranberry juice can lower the accuracy of urine tests and is a diuretic as well, which means it makes you pee. Drinking lots of water exersizing, apart from getting a clean sample (which is risky in terms of smuggling, keeping at right temp, etc) is your only hope.

If this drug test is in the future, it will probably take much less effort for your friend to just not do drugs for a little while.
