tell your friend SWIM to stop posting updates and enjoy his trip. The sporadic updates will just be incomplete and will derail the experience for SWIY. In the interest of making sure someone has a good experience, tell him to come back after he's crashed from it and reflected on the whole experience. Memories will still be there, I promise.
