Re: Pizza and yohimbe?

Depends on how much yohimbe you took and how much actives (yohimbine, etc) it has. If it was 3 hours ago and your still feeling ok I think you'd be fine though.

This is likely wrong.

What is yohimbine?
Quote:
Chemically, yohimbine is classified as an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor blocker.
What is an a2-adrenergic receptor?

The term "adrenergic receptor" means it responds mostly to adrenaline and noradrenaline. The a2 receptor is part of negative feedback; it does the opposite of what you think adrenaline should do. By antagonizing (blocking) this site, yohimbine is changing the effect of neurotransmitters and hormones that are already in your brain and body. This is in contrast to an MAOI, which changes the quantity of neurotransmitters in your brain.

You should be fine to eat pizza while taking yohimbine. That's not medical advice, I am not a doctor, I am not responsible for your death if I happen to be wrong.

Re: Pizza and yohimbe?

Well there is a difference between yohimbe bark and yohimbine. So that is one issue. Who knows what the other alkaloids do? And also some say even yohimbine is a MAOI to some degree. Others say that it is not and the other alkaloids may be. But in any case sine tyhe effect clearly is not strong as an MAOI you can probably eat cheese if you want.
