Oral use - Would Swiy drink Swims urine if it got one high? (Fly Algeric)

Swim read that after one eats the fly algeric shroom, that their urine will make an even stronger trip. Now, Swim would be willing to fast for 3 days and eat a lot of the fly algeric mushroom, then pee into a jug and let his mates drink it. They seem to think this idea is rather sick, but Swiogg doesn't see a problem with this.

As Swim has more experience with tripping than his mates and he has read that fly algeric makes one quite sick when eaten, but not when drinking it. Now Swim is ok with being sick but his mates are not really up for that part but they want to trip.

Surely it would cause no ill health or even taste bad if Swim was fasting for at least 3 days?

Thanks for the links, but would it be ok then to heat the urine up in a pot to kill of any harmful bacteria? Will the fly algeric acid goodness still be present after heating it?

SWIM would never ever do something like that. Here is some information from someone who knows a signifcant amount about the subject. He is called the Soma Shaman and has written a book on the subject...

Just to set the record straight, there is absolutely no need to drink the urine of one who has consumed Amanita in order to experience the mushroom high. There is a psychiatric term for those who drink urine: Urophiliac (the enjoyment of drinking ones own urine). (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition)
Though some people claim this is the way to metabolize toxins, converting ibotenic acid into muscimol, preparing Amanita by boiling it for tea has the same effect on the chemical composition of toxins as recycling through urine.
Though it has been noted that Siberians, and the destitute have used this method due to scarcity of supply or dire need to economize, it is not necessary and indeed counterproductive to the spiritual aspects of the Soma experience.

Apparently urinating on one's hands reduces blistering if playing in a professional sport, namely baseball. Swim is not advocating this, just passing on information.

I'd drink my own urine, but drinking someone elses? Hmmmmm... Alll depends on who's urine it was. Its not like a fettish, but its not something that Swim would be bothered about. As long as Swim new them and new they were clean.

Well the point is that one has no reason to do it. It is not required. Amanita Muscaria can be prepared without doing such a thing

Swim has heard of a tribe were the elder takes and hallucinogen and then later urinates in a storage vessel and then if swim remembers it rightly the youngest son drinks the urine and then from the following trip is classed a man. Please don't quote me on this as Iam not 100 % certain as to the facts but swim used to watch alot of natural history programs and remembers this. The thing being swim could never drink someones urine even if it was family as it's part of the bodies waste so god knows what may be lurking in it.

The Mahatma Ghandi drank his pee every morning. Many people do from differing cultures. The Untied Snakes has no true culture, so opinions will very. The only reason to consider (logically) to drink the piss of someone who previously ingested the A. Muscaria is that one is rather sure the ibotenic acid has converted to muscimol - and the original party is still alive. But properly preparing the mushrooms first negates such need. Well...Swim doesn't want me to say this, but he'll live. Swim has already tasted his own urine...he didn't find it a particularly pleasant flavor. and no, he didn't do it to get high...pretty much just curiosity. it was a long time ago, though, Swim is says, quite defensively i might add.

Kinda OT, but SWIM had a girlfriend in High school who swore she got high from consuming SWIMS, um, other bodily fluids from the same region, due to the ridiculous amounts of drugs of all types SWIM consumed. Lots of people drink their own pee as they claim it is a healthy practice, not that i've looked into their claims or done it myself.

I think the rumour started somewhere along the lines of drinking an animals urine that eats the fly agarics, reindeer perhaps, as the animals guts do some sort of conversion so that it would be fit for human consumption and made it trippy and good to go.

so if i were to fast for 3 days, then trip, and piss, i can drink the piss and get high again? illogical. too much effort. I'd rather make some money instead of fasting (or even a combination of both, by not spending money on food) then be able to just trip like a normal person would. Piss is nasty, and I couldn't stand a shot let alone a glass or two. Not worth it just to get high.

Something that should be taken into account here is the vast difference between cultures. While for the majority of people in the modern world, the idea of drinking urine is offensive, in India, a urine based soda was recently introduced.

If you were a Siberian living on tundra where the sun goes away for a few months out of the year and you only have a very short mushroom season, the thought of recycling the small harvest of mushrooms you've got, may become easier to swallow after a few years.

That said, nobody is quite stuck in their Western mindset and has no intention of drinking urine for any reason, no matter how hard they might tripp. It just seems silly to do such things in our world, especially when it's so easy to get whole drug products.
