Health - Marijuana help gain or lose weight?

The thing is SWIM has been smoking for the past 7 months and his body fat has reduced , about 10-13 pounds, he no longer worries about his belly. Must add he has also quit alcohol for almost a year, but wasn't a beer drinker he drank Vodka mostly or Rum w sprite.

All his friends that smoke weed also are very skinny. Except one who smokes before lunch to get more appetite and has actually gained 20 pounds in 6 months because he eats more food than regularly.

The thing that SWIM and his other skinny friends have in common is that they usually smoke away from home making it dificult to eat a lot during munchies, except maybe some cheetos or some small snack .

So Does Marijuana actually help to lose weight If one were not to give in to the munchies?
