Experiences - need some advice

so my friend was telling me about an experience he had with salvia. heres basically what he said to me (im quoting him):

i bought some salvia today and smoked it later that night. all i got was a bit of a buzz. i smoked 1/2gram approx, and got probably 4 or 5 good hits. my friend had about the same. he also had no trip, just a buzz. this was 5x, did i get a bad batch or am i naturally resistant? should i go to 15x or higher?


basically thats what he said. just kinda curious. did he get a bad batch? he said he emailed the company since they have a satisfaction guarantee. anyways, thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks for sharing your friend's story. SWIM knows from experience that it can be frustrating when Salvia just doesn't seem to work, especially when other people are describing their fascinating experiences.

Before upgrading to 15X SWIM would like to advise two things based upon his own experience; firstly try a variety of delivery methods, SWIM tried quidding and pipe smoking with barely any effect but as soon as he tried with a bong everything changed, your friend could also try combinations such as quidding plus smoking. Secondly SWIM would advise your friend to at least use up his remaining Salvia before upgrading, the reason being is because there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that it can take several attempts before the user has a breakthrough with Salvia.

If your friend has already used up all his 5X and he wants to buy some 15X then he should go right ahead and do that, but he should bear in mind that he may be right on the verge of a breakthrough so it would be wise to use his 15X in small doses.
