SWIM's a Kratom Virgin

Hi
SWIM hasn't had kratom before and is quite clueless. I mean this guy really doesn't know what to do.
He has 2g's of 20x.
He has heard it is pointless to smoke it and just a waste so I'm pretty sure my friend is against smoking it.
He has heard the most effective way of ingesting it is to brew it into tea/coffee. Maybe he is wrong?
If not SWIM would like to know how to make this tea with 2g's of 20x as most guides out there aren't for extracts.
SWIM would really appreciate advice from someone who knows what they are talking about.
