Bruising in Liberty Caps
how long does it take for a liberty cap to turn blue when bruised? is it straight away or takes time and is it just the stem that bruises blue?

Re: liberty cap bruising
SWIY could have posted this in SWIY's other thread.
In short, the answer is anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, however long it takes for the psilocin to oxidise. As far as SWIM knows, wherever you damage a psilo(cy)bin-containing mushroom, it should bruise blue. This may be difficult to see due to the mushroom's colour but it should still be there. Re: liberty cap bruising
SWIM has heard this before, but has always wondered: does this also apply to severe damage such as a stem or cap squashed between one's fingers?
