Australia - Question regarding pseudoephedrine laws in Oz

SWIM's knows that in Australia there is a pseudo watch and it is now required by law for the pharmacist to ask for photo ID and to log the purchasers name and adress into a real time online registry which the police have acsess to at any time.
SWIM's question is this: Just how often could someone buy pseudoephedrine containing medicine before the drug squad kicks down your door at 4am???
I mean is it some preset limit that as soon as you go over the computer goes 'ding ding ding' bust this guy or is it up to the discretion of the pharmacist/police to decide how much is too much.
You can only buy one packet at a time anyway but if SWIM buys 1 packet once per month (perfecty legitimate amount for legal use imo) will he be "red flagged"???
SWIM has been searching and searching and can't find info pertaining this particalar question anywhere.

If any Aussies (or any Earthling for that matter) know the answer to this question could you please get back to me... any ifo would be greatly apprecited.

the limit is one box of pseudoephedrine containin pills per month. sometimes pharmacies wont even sell you the pseudoephedrine coontanin pills just by the look of you. ur best bet is to get ur fellow tweaker frends to buy one per month for you.

Well not that cool coz it's a pretty slow way to stock up pseudo but cool cos now I know whats safe.
Also where did you find this info??? SWIM's been looking fucking everywhere and couldnt find a thing and would like to have a look at some more legal stuff regarding pseudo.

another drug forum website where someone was told by a pharmacist that its 1 per month. in actuality, i dnt think one arrest has been made via pharmacies contacting police of 'pseudo runners'. swim checked everywhere. also, if a swim is even contemplating making meth in australia, have to wait about 12 months beforer the cook starts what a bitch. i think that we get most of our shit from the superlabs in s.e. asia.

'swim' purchases this often, in S.A
id is required as u say,and most often they give u a hard time.swim argues the new phenylephrine formula is not affective and if they stock it swim buys it.
he buys about 10 per week.
each box has a max of 24 pills # 30mg each...
swim has gone to a chemist and then another in which case they say u just purchased one,in which swim says yeah but that one had codeine in it and i am allergic to it so swim requires one without codeine please. in which case no red flag is raised and they either say they cant help u or sell it to you....

The above is not true. If you are providing info to project stop (which is a national register and although it's use is voluntary upwards of 80% of pharmacies in some states have made it policy and this will only grow) then you would be refused sales and flagged for 10 purchases in a single week.

I pack per month is bullshit too... 2 packs per week is fine but not for a sustained period as the therapeutic value of pse diminishes after a week of use. Two packs of 6 120's for instance being 12hr tabs to be taken twice daily then 2 boxes is 6 days worth.

If someone was gonna do a cook, his best bet would probably be just to import pseudoephedrine somehow, like from an overseas pharmacy. It would NOT be a good idea to order directly to your house.

No the best idea is to avoid pseudo altogether if ya gonna cook but some people prefer it that way and if its only small amounts then it's fine i would guess.
