Considering building a psychomanteum
Long before sensory deprivation tanks there was another way to get in touch with ones self and perhaps the otherside aswell.http://www.angelphotography.com/Psyc...um%20Info.html I am considering creating one.I've heard of some very powerful experiences with them.This is also something anyone can do and much cheaper than a sensory deprivation tank.

A word of warning if you do think of dabbling with one.Always use it when in good spirits and a good state of mind.Like most things of this nature its outcome and how positive the experience depends on the mindstate of the user.

For a very simple version of this one can stare into a mirror in the dark or even better a black,scrying mirror.This is something to be cautious with like anything of this nature though.There might have been good reason mirrors were always believed to be portals and people put cloth over them when family members died.

All about scrying mirrors here http://www.scryingmirror.com/ and you can buy one.But my words of caution stand,I have friends that have had some very frightening experiences during mirror meditation sessions.Sure it is far more safer than directly trying to open doors as with talking boards but still something to be researched before it is done.

on second thoughts... have u tried this? i'm a little actually alot freaked out since my ouija board experience years ago. so i wont try it unless i have more info. do u have a link or more details into this?

This is in no way like a ouija board if you are simply trying for insights into the self.Now if you go about with intent to communicate with forces outside yourself then it becomes risky.http://crystalforest1.homestead.com/howtoscry.html this should tell you more.

I have indeed tried it but got abit nervous.I don't think this was anything bad I simply wasn't in the right state of mind at the time.As for my friends...well someone I know tried using a black mirror in conjuction with a seance and ended up inviting some problems into his life.

Well fortunately it wasn't a serious paranormal assault,no poltergeist activity or anything of the like.But for a few weeks my friend experienced footsteps at night,small things going missing,some shadow people activity.

Well when it comes to these kind of things even with a high degree of caution things can go wrong.This is why as I have advised before there are certain special people,highly trained mediums.These are the only people that should go about deliberately trying to make contact with the other side.
