Re: Will this species of Pods work??
swib has heard of on place the sells P Somniferum as Arizona. Purple is a good indication. Try a small amount and see. even if PS they will vary batch to batch and crop to crop so know way to messure if the AZ you have now are what anyone else has or what swim will receive if one orders again

Re: Will this species of Pods work??
arizona wilds are californian poppy and not P.somniferum . .
However . . There is a variety of arizona purple which was introduced by the chinese during gold rush times which has also since gone wild . . these are purple and are P.somniferum. One would need to see a picture to be certain but there are plenty of botanical descriptions of P.somniferum varieties here to take a look at. Hope this has been of theoretical or scientific help

Re: Will this species of Pods work??
California's will have a tiny seed pod, so if it's any bigger than your thumb it's probably not those. Somni pods look pretty unique, so just look for some pics of them.
