Re: ipomoea volubilis

okay so swim finally got around to trying it. ground them up , put them in a glass of water (about 330ml) added a splash of lemon juice and let sit for about 15-20 minutes. strangely enough swim got all the physical effects like pupil dilation, headache and a little nausea (swim was feeling crappy overall for 2-3 hours after ingestion). only drank the water and none of the mush (left both the light colored and dark colored mush). so since some physical effects are there does that mean the extraction failed and the seeds work or what?

thanks for any answers

brux added 0 Minutes and 28 Seconds later...

oh this was approximately 250 seeds. forgot to add

Re: ipomoea volubilis

Hi. I've been trying to identify a morning glory like specie that is very common here in Portugal (lots of people have them in their backyards).
Searching for "Ipomoea Volubilis" I found this page: http://nature.jardin.free.fr/grimpante/ft_ipomee.html The photos here show exactly the specie I was searching for. And here are some photos I took:

brux, the seeds you have are from this specie? In the site they call it "Ipomoea indica", Volubilis is an ordinary name. Does anyone know if the seeds contain LSA?
I'll try to test myself, I'll make some non-polar/polar extractions and try the resultant product and watch for the effects. However if someone could find any information about the quantity of alkaloids each seed has I would really appreciate it.
By the way, the plants are flowering now. Is it right that it takes about a month until I can harvest the seeds?

Some more photos I found: http://www.topwalks.net/plants/blue/...ndica_more.htm
(I couldn't find the edit button, sorry.)

(Forget it, it adds automatically to the previous post).
