Swims permanent fractal 'portal'

swim has had a permanent fractal since swims early high school days when swim tried sniffing petrol amongst other things like thinners. the most amazing hallucinations were experienced on those things. later realising how bad they were swim stopped. since then, 13 years ago. this small fractal about the size of a pea and light red in colour has always been present. if swim concentrates & focusses on it it swirls more & expands a bit. on the usual substances such as lsd it obviously really comes 2 life. swim was wondering if any other swimmers have this. is it swims third eye open permanently? any views? thanks.

Strange, hard to tell what the verdict is. Has swiy ever consulted a docter to ensure its not physical ? Also is it present with eye's open and closed ?

Sounds like an over-exaggeration of bright light against delicate eye-lids. How genuine is this problem? Does it require immediate attention or is it some kind of random observation? Sniffing petrol is never a good thing but I don't believe it produces the long-term effects that you describe. More likely heavy vomiting or instant death.

Swim freaked out big time from sniffing gas when he was young. Reality melted away and nothing was real. He saw his whole family (mother, father, brother) in this trip and they were not even real and he felt the fear of nothingness.
He also heard this freaky laughing noise like life was all just a big joke. Swim had flashbacks for 10 years after this. Every time Swim had deja vu he had an inner panic attack. One time after a good outdoor party Swim and his mats ran out of fun pills so they went to a local head shop and bought Salvia. Not really knowing much about this harmless herb! Thinking well if you can buy it in a shop then it can't be anything like real drugs!! Swims mate smoked a small pipe first, he never finished it so Swim smoked the rest and then filed the pipe right to the top and Swim can take a lot of smoke. He finished the the smoke held in for a good minute then the freaky Deja vu!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrg not this again, panic kicked in and the fear of "the end" of reality was purely terrifying. Swim looked at his best mate and it seamed as tho he wasn't real anymore. All Swim could do was grab onto him and tell him to not let Swim go, "hold me please" begging for reality breathing heavy and holding his mate so hard asking him to not go away, (part of Swims panic was the fear of his best mate not being real) even trying to smell him to get some reality back. All he could do was hold Swim and tell him its ok. It wore of but Swim was traumatized for a good few years after this and would get scary unexpected flashbacks. His girl at the time helped with this fear. The worst was when him and a few mates when to see the last matrix film, the cinema was jam packed. The part of the film that freaked him out is when agent Smith says "wait this has happened before" (or something like that) he had a deja vu type thing when he was knew Neo was going to beat him 'again?' Anyway it made Swim jump and have this dreadful fear, heart pounding trying hard to hold it together incase everyone in the cinema took part and knew it was the end for him. Maybe thats why Swim liked valium and opiates so much.

This put Swim of solvents and salvia for life, but... after his trippy withdrawal experience he is now more interested in strong hallucinegenics than ever before. He loved his Ayahuasca experience and will be doing that many more times. Not sure if he can adventure back into the world of salvia, maybe one day. Salvia seems to be heavy and bring you down while DMT brings you up and makes you feel loved up, beautiful colours, and the elves are friendly.

thanx 4 the replies. swim has never consulted a doctor 2 find out more. good idea though, next time swim sees a doctor swim will ask. though swim really does'nt see it as a problem. as swim can block it out mostly. its only if swim wants 2 focus on it that it becomes more visible. it basically looks like a small ying yang sign circle that spins. usually they're everywhere on most drugs swim takes especially lsd. but this one stays there permanently. it's not a random observation, been there since very young although swim does have sensitive eyes. swim did neally die on the petrol once but thats another story never did get sick on it. as swim said the hallucinations wer intense, you do go in to another world.

Very interesting, best advice for now is consult a doctor. Its very difficult to tell though, keep questioning the phenomenon either way....it may be nothing or it may be something. Keep us updated and good luck !

I got given a spirit cyrstal once. DUnno who by but they glowed quite a bit...a dark glow...similar to the salvia spirits.

This crystal was awesome, I looked into it and OMG...it was fucking timeless. I really should stop swearing on here...but i literally mean timeless. I put a charcter in it...think it was mad max...it looked coolfrom the outside. decided to step it. Man, I was wandering around this err plane of existance and there were things all around...ths was fairly dream like except for the fact that some how I was observing all that that space would ever be.

Now, being that time was happening all at once...the crystal kinda got a bit unstable. I freaked...jumped out and decided i better protect it. So, I placed its spirit nicely in my right hemisphere, just a bit above my right temple.

I had a miagrine for about 2 weeks...

found the best explanation smurf can relate his permanent 'fractal' to, it seems to be a form constant. i'll post a wiki link, it really is interesting the different attributes that can cause the visual hallucination as it seems to be a form of synethsesia & wiki mentions reaching threshold consciousness. is there such a thing?

they are similar to fractals & the image you see when clicking the link is the same swirly thing the smurf sees.

an update to this condition since smurf has being on lsd a few times & programmed the mind to block this fractal/portal out... it has dissapeared since these sessions & the use of ssri medication 'paxil.'

the strange thing is the other night smurf was in a astral level state of consciousness & woke up & as he woke up he briefly noticed this 'portal' closing as if it really was there in the dream/obe/astral projection state. interesting the power of the mind.
