Think of what old people told us of high school when we were
young..after reaching that certain age where your life ends but your
body goes on for another 40 years or so. "Your high school years
are the best of your life, you just don't know it while it's
happening. I have found that the exact opposite is true of
meth. You can (and most users do) experience the worst period of
your entier life on and because of this drug, and you won't know
it. Some never do. The problem is that even if you do quit
for a while (a few months to a few years), you STILL won't know
it. Its hard to reflect when the only thoughts or feelings you
have about the drug is wanting it.

Anyone care to elaborate?

Uh, right on? I thought I had passed that point in my life and up until a couple weeks ago had considered myself a "recovered meth addict". However, my thoughts lately have largely been meth-related, and even worse, have largely consideration of giving into the cravings. So I may not be past that point yet, I may not be all better like I thought I was.

All I can think about is the burn....yeah baby

you know what? it was too much of a good thing i guess

at first, it caused me to become motived.in addition, not only wasi finally able to complete things/tasks/projects on time, & even earlier than i usually would. everything was actually clean and organized. i had controlled my appetite for food. and got down from 120lbs to 97lbs. after regularly using i eventually lost all my friends, become antisocial, slipped back into my eating disorder b/c i started depending on amphetamines alone to lose weight. i also lost desire to exercise (i used to be OBSESSED with exercise, health,& nutrition) & oh yeah adverse effects experienced include: open sores, heart irregularities, pnuemonia like feeling in the chest and lungs

basically it is all about moderation;

excessive desire & attachent (wheither person, substance, or idea)causes suffering
