Karma is real. Now that I've got that out of the way you need to know that karma and vibes are also contageous. When I trip I can almost feel people's karma and different peoples' karma give my trips different flavors. When I trip with a close friend the empathy is much stronger and I almost feel like certain strong minded people help my trip and make it more meaningful and vibrant.

Karma to me is like a video game. Anyone canplay super mario, most people can beat it, but do you know where all the hidden warps are and can you get the high score? I think it is more complex than justa word to describe someone's give and take on life. It is a word to describe your essence, do you like to be the fire ball shooting plumber or the flying squirel?

'Karma
Defined:
Karma means that "as you sow, so also shall
you reap" in this and other lifetimes until you understand the
complete consequences of all your actions. Karma is the principle
of cause and effect, action and reaction, total cosmic justice
and personal responsibility.'

In a sense, I'm on a huge fling with some sort of collective conciousness. I am slowly peicing together my beliefs about life. I feel like anything that you conceive, feel, or do effects everyone elses concious experience. When you die your conciousness lives on threw how you as an individual effected the evolution of life. I guess I just want to make a dent in the world.

Making a Dent in the World . . . that's Karma.

There are 2 trains of Thought for Karma (at least in my Mind). (1) Karma is there to remind me that my Actions create Karma, and then I get the effect of that action. (2) The things I think of (if I choose to NOT carry them out), create a kind of personal Karma, and only I am aware of it (so I don't actually owe any atonement for it).

The "Cause" and "Effect" runs the World. To illustrate this (even though I not planning to do it), take the instance: CAUSE: "I am angry. I shoot this loser." EFFECT: "This guy bleeds, and has to patched up." Because I caused this pain to be inflicted, I am responsible (somehow) for it. In the Karmic world I have just lost 500 Brownie points.

On the other hand, if I happen upon a man who has just been shot, I can bandage him up, and drive him to a Doctor. CAUSE: "I am filled with compassion. I am the Good Samaritan." EFFECT: "This guy gets help, and heals more quickly because I helped him." Because I helped allieviate his pain, and helped him, I am partially responsible for his Healing. Karma-wise I just received 500 Brownie points.

While I do not think much about Karma, I live my Life in a way where I attempt to NOT make Negative karma. I see it more as: Everyone is a part of God (because God created everyone). If a person is plopped in front of me, there is a reason for it. I will look at this person-of-God, and be polite and reverent in my Actions.

If this particular person is not healthy for me to be around, I will still treat him with respect, but I will attempt to see him less (for me, and for him, obviously I grate him anyway). His presence is here to remind me: Life is mostly Good. I am Glad I have Wonderful people in my Life. This helps me to be Grateful for having some Good in my Life. I have a Good Life, just as it is.

Dónīt think of karma as videogame scoring, please. Itīs such a jewish-christian way of seeing it! itīs not a punishment-reward sistem designed by the creator in which you play the good gut in order to become an evoluted pokemon.

Just think you are your acts, thoughts, beliefs, feelings. The most beautifull and armonic they are, the better for you and for all.

this beautifull/ugliness:armony/kaos in each being can be "felt" whether you are tripping or not, it can be catch by common senses. No need of LSD or a "psichic gift" to get the peopleīs vibes.

LSD works our subconciousness pulling up to conciousness information we generally miss. Itīs not that I donīt want to be mistic, itīs just that I prefeer to see it this way, mixing a little piscology of perception in the subgect.Edited by: pabel_giboon

ok heres a thought. i feel what pabel is saying that if your keeping score that inherently is negative karma, because your doing it to build up a cache, not out of true goodness(on some level). anyway, karmically, so lets say you homeboy joe gets shot, and you help him and save his life. you know that homeboy joe isn't a great guy may not neccesarily subscribeto yourkarmic belief system. after homeboy joe gets well, he goes and kills the guy that shot him and his family. while you aren't totally responsible, do you get some negative feedback? your postive action resulted in 3-fold negativity.

It's about ME . . . not Homeboy Joe.

Ventrue, if you walked by a guy who had just been shot, and he is flopped on the ground and bleeding, would You assume that he's a jerk, and walk away? Or, call an ambulance?

Anyway, if I saw this man bleeding, I would feel compelled to offer some assistance. I would do this, because if I didn't, I would suffer for it afterwards (Karma, or NO Karma).

If, while I was driving him to seek Medical help, Homeboy told me that he planned to kill the guy who shot him, I would STILL take him to the Doctor. I am doing MY part. Homeboy has the option to change his mind later.

If I read about Homeboy in the News later, plugging the shooter, I will feel sorry for Homeboy. I will feel sorry (maybe less sorry) about the shooter. I MAY second-guess myself for a while ("Did I allow THIS to happen?"). But in the end, I needed to do my part.

I am NOT the one who is mired "in 3-fold negativity"; that prize is awarded to Homeboy. He accepted my compassion. He used it to feel better. Then he filled-up with revenge (something I did not initiate), and did a vicious act. Homeboy has Life-in-Prison to second-guess HIS action. I will do my Part: I will pray for him to learn a lesson from his action.

Hi all

I am trying to work off some bad karma right now. Sometimes it seems as though certain "doors" are "locked" because of bitterness. Example. I had a really good job offer. Signed sealed and delivered. I turned it down, andI did it with no better offer on the table. To this day I have no idea why I turned it down. Iview it askarmic payback in the form of a clouded mind.
