Combinations - xanax and cigarettes

Swim has noticed that after taking xanax that cigarettes seem more enjoyable and it seems to lesson any anxiety or irritability that would normally be caused by smoking. Or in general, it seems the xanax cigaratte combination is very relaxing.

Has anyone had an experience with smoking a cigarette and taking xanax around the same time?

Swim has not had experience of this but it would seem to swim that swiy's experience with these two chemicals maybe far different than some other fishes who took exactly the same combination as people metabolise chemicals at different rates.

swims experience is that tobacco use greatly shortens the duration of xanax.

I have seen the statement or similar remarks: "Cigarette smoking reduces Alprazolam blood levels by up to 50%" on med info papers and online medication information sites.

Haven't really looked at the research behind this, but if swiy is a smoker he may be losing out on a great deal of potency from his Alprazolam.

I think we've actually had a discussion about this before. You were the one who told me because I would have never assumed that cigarettes should be looked into. I definitely remember hearing this though and being surprised, and you're most likely who I heard it from. Pandas consume a lot of benzos and cigarettes around here.
