Experiences - I have failed

I haven't smoked in about a month (I don't have to use SWIM here do I? Tobacco legal right?) so about an hour ago I had a Newport sitting around so I grabbed it and I didn't have a lighter, so stupid me goes to the stove sticks the cig in my mouth and has the end over the stove. I turn on the stove and I smell that hair burning smell... you know the one thats smells like real bad assm, the flame burned the edges on my hair and got my eye lashes and brows. I feel so fucking stupid, I got most of the dead hair (it wasn't too bad) by rubbing it with water. Any dumb shit you people do lighting a cigerette?

I mean I've singed I guess the hair on the front of my head before from just leaning over a lighter while lighting a cigarette. I feel like every newbie makes that mistake (lighter mistake, not the stove mistake, we'll get to that in a second) at one point and learns quickly not to let their hair get caught in the heat of the flame. Especially for people like me who have a lot of hair and prefer to grow it long.

As for the stove... I can't lie, I'm laughing my ass off. I remember being really drunk once and getting the idea to light a cigarette on a charcoal BBQ that was just being lit, and even I was able to restrain myself and think about the hair. I hope you aren't into chemistry. If you are, this could be an omen that you'll just blow your eyebrows off a lot and never really get anywhere.

Swim lights the filter about once a carton. Intoxication due to Alchohol or DXM has played a role in this action but swim has done it stone cold sober several times too.

One time Swim knocked on the door of a crackhead while he was smoking crack, had his dealer with him and some dude bangin a crackhoe in the back room. Swim knew all of this but was damn desprate for a light. Didn't help that swim was white...lmao.

Swim did not but did consider once shorting and electrical outlet to use the spark to get a light but didn't want to blow a bunch of fuses and have the landlord all up his ass.

Swim has done a few things like that but mostly when alcohol was involved so that's swims excuse

Swim on more than once occassion has been using one cigarette to light another as a lighter was not avaliable and then not paying attention to what she was doing and when putting the now lit one into her mouth put it the wrong way round. God swims lip and whole mouth was burnt and swollen for weeks after that!

Swim has also done the more common things she's sure most people haev done at some point ie. singing the eye lashes and eyebrows as the flame was a bit bigger than expected. Swim however went one further on this before on a wild night out where swim had managed to get alchol through her hair. Swim then managed to set her hair alight and boy did it go up. Was terrifiying really think swim would have freaked out a lot more if she wasn't totally wasted thank god her friends were there to save the day!

Swim is such a silly girl...
