Rate of Addiction w/ Multiple Opiates vs Single
So swim searched, and did not find any info. Swim is always worried about becoming addicted, and wonders about the following scenario:
Say swim uses every 6th day. Are His chances of becoming addicted/dependent greater when swim uses only one type of opiate vs jumping between multiple types? Say, doing hydromorphone all the time as opposed to jumping between tramadol, codeine, oxycodone, hydromorphone every time. No needle usage is involved. Sorry if this has been covered, swim could not find any info or other threads related to this. |

Re: Rate of Addiction w/ Multiple Opiates vs Single
As far as swim thinks it is opiates of any kind that swiy's body starts to crave after so long, so swim thinks it wouldn't really matter if swiy swapped about any form of regular opiate use will end up leading to addiction. It is always best to be cautious and leave a long gap between use then swiy doesn't get addicted and build up a tolerence. Also be carefull if swiy has no tolerence as opiates vary in strength so one you could take a large amount of could end up killing you with a different type.

Re: Rate of Addiction w/ Multiple Opiates vs Single
Swim keeps his tolerance down as much as he can, and does in-depth research before trying anything new. Swim is very cautious, he only does one type at a time, does not mix depressants, and doses slowly over time, and CWE's anything that needs it.

swim knows that morphine and diamorphine are the most addictive phsychologically and physically (excuse my spelling!) so swim would advise sticking to opiates like tramadol, codeine, dihydrocodeine as long as they are sufficient!! if not try pethidine, hydrocodone, oxycodone etc .swim also may advise staying away from opioids like methadone, morphine, diamorphine, oxymorphone, hydromo rphone and durogesic patches if you only use occasionally as they are more likely to cause dependance and addiction !!! hope that helps??
