TEK - Hash Oreos

I found this tek on erowid and swim wanted to know if it worked.

take a quarter gram hash
small thing of butter
spoon
lighter
Double stuffed oreos



1)Take oreo and spoon out bout a nickel sized hole in the icing
2) grind up the hash till it's fine grains or small balls
3)heat up butter
4)add hash into heated and melted butter
5) boil in spoon with butter till the hash is dissolved in the butter
6) pour butter/hash into the hole in the oreo
7) put the top back on the cookie and let it sit in the fridge for 20mins

Does it work? swim assumes it does but he really doesn't know

This should certainly work. Even without the added lipids (butter) for membrane solubility, the hash would still show oral activity. Im not sure why the tek says to put it in the fridge (maybe to let the butter harden?). If the butter were slow-cooked, or heated for a long time in a double boiler with the hash in it, it would be much more effective, but the tek as is should produce reasonable effects on a novel medium. Also, depending on what kind of hash is being used, 1/4 gram could be far to much or not enough. As with all substances, its good to starts small. If cooked well, a smoked dose should translate well in weight to a reasonable edible dose. If only briefly heated like in the recipe, perhaps 150% of a smoked dose would be more reasonable.

Swim tested it and it indeed worked well... swim used about 300mg of hash and did the tek. it took about two hours to really hit but when it did, oh boy, it was good. Nothing better than oral use of cannabis. Heated the butter in the spoon (it was boiling) for about 2 minutes with a butane torch... kinda surprised the butter didn't burn due to high milk-fat content.

Tek is proven good! and it's an easy one for anyone looking to do a home job without alot of smell and use of product (swim gets hash for very cheap here)

Was going to confirm that it works well and is a good method of preparation (think I already posted about it on the forums), but looks like swiy already gave it a shot.

Interesting its on erowid though. Swim found out about this a while ago from a friend back home. Just Oreos are just that popular all over the place, and especially with stoners.

These make for nice and inconspicuous handy transportable snacks.
