Dose - Friends' first time with cactus

Swim bought a lot of San Pedro powder, six bags that contain 40 grams each. This weekend swim will probably be using some with friends who have never done mescaline before(although one is convinced he rolled on pills that were cut with it). They have however had plenty of experience with tripping on acid, shrooms, various 2c-'s, rolling and a few combos. So he's not so worried about them. There are a couple other friends though that have hardly any experience at all, like only having had a 1/16th of shrooms, if that. Swim and his experienced friends will probably do a whole 40 grams each but he's thinking that he should give the other kids a limit to start with, like no more than 20. Could this maybe too high or too low of a first dose? Should swim and his experienced friends maybe even start lower?
