i'm clean and sober!

Just wanted to drop a line and tell how I'm doing. My last date of use was Feburary 12th, 2008. I've been clean for about 4 and a half months now and it feels great. I Get up, I mediatate every morning, I talk to someone somewhere about my soberity (not necessary NA or AA), I see a doctor once a week and I read something once a day about recovery. when I do that I don't use. when I do steer from that I think about using from time to time. the thought crosses my mind but I no longer obsess about it.

Congratulations! Sounds like you have found a "program". Four months is great; some days will be up, some down, but it will keep getting better as time goes on.

Keep doing what you are doing, and PM me if those cravings hit and you need someone to chat with.

honesty I was in AA/NA but after reading books that aren't called the big book about NA/AA and going to enough meetings it's not for me. I have my own "program" that is working and honesty I am doing better now than probably ever in my life. I'm making GREAT money, I workout 2 times a day, watch what i eat, and I respect myself alot more.

I don't get cravings as much as thoughts from time to time.
