Quote:
The Minister of Health, Roselyne Bachelot, has classified as narcotic BZP (1-benzylpiperazine) by order published in the "Journal Officiel" on May 15, 2008. The decision follows a proposal by "French Agency for Health Safety of Health Products" (AFSSAPS), because of the toxicity and potential abuse and dependence on the substance.
BZP (1-benzylpiperazine) is a stimulant of the central nervous system that has effects similar but less powerful than those of amphetamines (about 10% of the power of D-amphetamine). This substance, used for recreational purposes, is particularly accessible in some European countries and on the Internet where it is presented as a euphoric (natural or herbal) and as a "legal alternative to ecstasy". In Europe, the circulation of BZP was first reported in 1999. Its use appears to be increasing since 2004.
BZP is causing effects such euphoria, agitation, insomnia, confusion, vomiting, abdominal pain, heart disease, hypertension and seizures. Inhalation, this product causes irritation to the respiratory tract, skin and eyes.
Anyway SWIM experience with this substance was not confortable at all....
