Tolerance

Why Do E/drug users build up tolerances for drug? Is it the bodys way of telling the user not to take the drugs or that the body can tolerate the drugs better the more taken?

Re: Tolerance

Something to do with down-regulation of the receptors in the brain that are stimulated by MDMA, meaning that the brain becomes chemically less sensitive to it's effects after repeated use.

There is also the much more subjective "loss of magic" that most frequent MDMA users report. This has been covered in many previous threads though.

Re: Tolerance

Many threads address this issue. Look up 'serotonin.'

Re: Tolerance

It's just like anything in life, do anything to often and it becomes normal and loses some if not all of it's magic.

Re: Tolerance

To SWIM it's the most perfect drug in many respects, especially having a bang on E makes SWIM wanna do it too much ;-)
Agree that too much of anything is not the way to go...
