Purity - How to tell if the vial contains LSD?

Ok, lets say someone was to get a hold of a vile of acid.



Here is the deal. A friend got this vile from a semi-trustworthy
dealer. The kind you can go to, but generally check what you get. The
dealer is very open to the idea of paying a little XX for a hit to test
it out before buying the vile. The only problem we are running in to is
no one wants to put this liquid from a vile in their mouth not knowing
if it is lsd or some kids insuline. Anything I can look for. What other
types of things could it be.

To describe the vile it is roughly 3.5 inches tall and about as round
as a pen, a little smaller. The top has a surenge type cover (made to
stick a needle through) bottom looks to have a black cap (not screw on
but inserted into the glass) no markings or writing.

we can't tell you if it is LSD. however, buy out the XXX hit and give it
a shot. LSD is usually mixed with a mint dropper or some sort of
alcohol but that is not always the case. if he puts a large amount of
liquid in your mouth/sugar cube or however he sells it to you, it may
be a research chemical and not lsd. just try it out. you should be able
to tell for youurself whether or not it is LSD by the duration, the
types of visuals, the trip, etc.

Yah go ahead..... SWIM told me that this is the real deal so if the color looks like this then you got the real one.

This SWIM was also asking me how he can dip it in blotter paper. I told him that I could find out for him because of this forum. Sooo anybody can help this dude??

There arelsd testersfor sale. May be a lot easier. Even whenSWIP bioessay's it, when he'd come back satisfied, SWIP would not know if he'd get the same stuf anyhow.LSD tester's the way to go. They cost around $ 15,- for multiple tests. SWIP can use it for shrooms as well.

The physical characteristics of the vial have NOTHING to do with what's inside.

I agree about the vile except I wouldn't figure that a vile would have
a syringe top on it, that is the only part that threw me. The liquid is
clear and I guess I'm going to just give it a shot and see what happens.

Reason for syringe top: to measure out doses. If xxmg of acid are added
to xxmL of liquid, you want to be exact when you are measuring out
doses. A syringe will accurately let you measure out a few mL of the
liquid to give a dose of the acid.

just to report back, not acid. I dont know what it is I took felt no effects whatsoever. Liquid had no taste.

You can check it with UV light. LSD is fluoreszent.

While a breif exposure is probably not a problem, LSD is notoriously
unstable, and will break down under light given enough time. UV
light carries more energy than visible light, so will break down LSD
faster. Also, many things flouresce under UV light, so this is
not necessarily a test. However, flourescent things look really
cool. My friends and I used to add quinine (that stuff in tonic
water, anti-malarial) to our UV-light equipped bong.

This simpleprocedure (http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_info2.shtml)could be used to check for the presence of LSD in liquid formalso as it's extracted from the blotter for testing purposes anyway. That liquid may have actually contained LSD, but it's extremely fragile in that form and really should be kept under nitrogen in a freezer.Edited by: DrugPhreak
