Has anyone had the 80mg oxy's with 33 on one side and 93 on the other? If so, if you crushed them did you have trouble getting the powder fine. I even used a pill crusher/ brand new blade, nothing seemed to work. anyone else have this problem. |

SWIM has used these and had similar problems. try scraping off the waxy
cover first. then SWIM uses a heavy object with it under a card to crush it completely. even when SWIM cuts it up with a razor blade, it appears gunky, waxy, etc. you can cut it up pretty well after a while and even though it is a bit gunky, do smaller liens (if you are using it for that) so your nose doesnt get clogged. then, rinse it out with some saline solution to get the gunk down your throat, and repeat. |

If you are talking about the time release coating, just wet it it will
swell up and wipe it off. may take a few rinses but it will work |

With time release, put it in your mouth for a minute to let it disolve
in your mouth. Also, a 'Tea Infuser - Mesh Ball' is a great little tool. Rub the pill(without time release) against the very fine mesh of the Infuser and a very, very fine power is the result. The Infuser is very cheap. It's a kitchen tool. Fine mesh is key. |

Purdue brand oxycontins still seem to be what the pharmcia gives out here.
Maybe it is how the prescription is written. Last edited by newposts; 31-03-2008 at 04:21. |
