Storing kratom tea in the fridge.
So Swim made some kratom tea earlier today while the parents weren't home to avoid suspicion of the piculiar smell it gives off in the kitchen. Swim planned on drinking it later tonight.
Anyways, after it was finished brewing, it looked quite like normal tea, dark brown, translucent.... and after swim put it in the fridge for a while, he checked on it a few minutes ago and it turned to a light brown, opaque color.... Can't even see through it at all. Swim is wondering if it's still ok to drink by doing this, and if anyone else stores tea. He's also wondering if it will turn back to it's original dark brown translucent color when he reheats it in the microwave. Appreciate it, thanks. |

Re: Storing kratom tea in the fridge.
How long is 'a while'? Cooling it won't change it very much.
How about washing down ground kratom with water instead of drinking tea (or even putting the kratom in gel caps)? It's more effective. There are a lot of threads about this. |

Re: Storing kratom tea in the fridge.
Swim has tried toss and wash, and for some weird reason (and he's heard of someone else saying this too) he got barely any effects off T&W like 25g of kratom.... The first time swim tried tea he got a real nice buzz off 10g... And, he doesnt mind the tea it's actually kind of enjoyable for him.

Re: Storing kratom tea in the fridge.
Tea stores well, ought to be fine for about up to a week maximum -or so my buddy claims. My buddy Joey brews a batch a tea good for 3-4 servings and stores his brew in a sealed jar in a cold fridge. He has never stored tea for longer than a week and would be vigilant in doing so since bacteria is not something you'd want to consume.
I've heard adding a little alcohol to the final brew helps prolong storage, but frankly how long would one need to store tea, a week seems more than sufficient. .peace. |

Kratom Consumption Methods Exposed
Swim, likes to make tea out of kratom and store it in bottles. This gives Swim the advantage of being able to use the kratom when it is desired and not having to wait for the hour long process of boiling and straining.
How long will Kratom last in a sealed bottle...how long before it will go bad, does it even go bad? Or will it just get better with age like alcohol does? Should it be kept in the fridge? If any of your pets have experience please share. Thanks, Fubs |

Re: Storing kratom tea in the fridge.
Kratom normally becomes 'milky' once cooled.
