Tripping and Wearing Glasses

Whilst tripping, SWIM notices with GREAT intensity his bad eye sight, and it really bothers him during the voyage. SWIM is near sighter in his right eye, and far sighter in his left. IF both eyes were like his left however, he would not need glasses. So pretty much SWIM's right eye is screwed up.

So SWIM asks you all, do you wear your glasses while tripping, or do you go without them? If SWIM wears them, he hones in on the framing and he says it feels like he is just looking through a window and not experiencing the world first hand.

I think it might be quite hard for someone online to tell you if you should/shouldent wear glases while tripping. if it bothers you take them off some people prefer glasses so that they can see there halucinations in greater detail but if it bothers you...

SWIM does both.. he also has a pair of glassess where the lenses come out easily so they can be replaced with shaded ones... sometimes he puts on these with diffirent colour lenses, or even with just one lense in. shazam, instant trip toy.. its quite weird in a very slight way...
If it annoys SWIY though invest in some contacts??

SWILL informs me that his myopic muncher of a friend (who is permanently to be found behind his bay windows) always keeps his glasses on during his technicolour travels. He never has any bother with overly focusing on his frames; in fact he tells me that he hardly even notices them. He says that with any voyage of this nature it is very easy to become fixated with one thing and you need plenty of other stimuli to take your mind of the fixation....just go with that psy-flow.

He also said that it is probably all down to personal preference, but he likes to have his vision up to scratch in order to take in the glory of the countryside as it flashes by.

The only time he experiences slight issues with his viewing tackle is when his face starts to melt from laughter induced seepage. His fevered attempts at wiping away the residue sometimes leave his glasses smudged and smeared, but no real bother. Have a tissue handy and make like a window cleaner. Squeaky clean trickle-vision resumed.

SWIM alternates between glasses and contacts depending on what kind of "trip" SWIM will be taking. For example, if SWIM's drug of choice is Meth, she prefers to wear contacts, as SWIM tends to need to see what she's lighting, and generally gets agitated at having glasses on her face. Granted after a day or so glasses are necessary due to dry eyes. SWIM also prefers contacts when on anything psychedelic or completely world altering such as shrooms, ex, GHB, Ketamine, etc. However, when smokin a blunt or drinking a few beers its either one.

I suppose the most significant part of my answer would be that no matter what, SWIM never likes to not be able to see whats going on around her. Especially if the the posters on the wall are changing colors, or her face is melting in the mirror.
