Dose - How much methadone is this?

SWIM wants to know how much methadone this is. He sent me this photo and asked me to post this. SWIM said he bought it off of his friend and his friend said it was 100 mg. SWIM thinks it looks a little small to be 100 mg. SWIM needs a reply ASAP.

If swim knew what mls the bottle was then swim could tell ya, it's usually stamped underneath the bottle. Swim thinks it only looks about 20 mls from what they are looking at. But swim is in the UK and never seen red methadone it's green here.

SWIM had her first dose of methadone yesterday (the green UK stuff) and would have to agree with Mickenator. SWIM's first dose was 25mls and thinks whats in that bottle looks to be about the same as what she took.

Swim should know that 100mg is 1/10th of a gram. Without further information, I must conclude that the item does contain 100mg. Of what? I haven't the foggiest.

I have read that the red methadone can be as concentrated as 10mg per ml, that is 10 times more powerful than the green stuff in the UK. I would urge caution and find out what concentration this is, then i would go and find some way to measure the exact amount in the bottle, it shouldn't be hard to find something to do this.

Then it's 88mg of methadone, a more than lethal dose for someone with little or no opiate tolerance. Remember that it is better to take a little at a time than to take a lot and have no way of undoing it (unless it's thrown back up right away).

SWIM found through research that the red oral methadone solution is 10mg/ml. Therefore, he figured he had 88mg's of methadone as the previous post said. SWIM has been off of heroin for 2 months but has been using subutex/suboxone pretty much that whole time. He had tapered the buprenorphine several times and was able to make it about 5 days or so and then would start taking bup's again. Over the last few weeks, SWIM has been using about 2-4 mg of suboxone ~every two days. His last dose of suboxone was Monday morning. Tuesday evening, he bought a bag of extremely good tar (the best tar he has ever had) as well as that bottle of 'done. This morning (around 6:45) he took 2.5ml of the methadone (25 mg). SWIM felt this would be a high enough dose to feel the effects and a low enough dose to not get too high, as he was going to work. An hour and a half later, he took another 1ml (10 mg) because he didn't feel enough of the effects. Every hour and half, SWIM kept taking 1-1.5ml of methadone until all 8.8ml were gone. SWIM was at a meeting all day today listening to presentations. The lights were off and the room was very warm. He also only got 3-4 hours of sleep last night. Needless to say, SWIM kept nodding off ALL day long SWIM can still feel the effects now, but they are wearing off.

swim dont think thats 100mg swim buys 80mg bottles and it is that exact bottle almost filled for 30$ thats looks about 30mg and yea the red stuff is definitely good but watch out because it is very easy to dilute with water and make it look like more but the color looks right and be careful this stuff is strong swim nods off 40mg of this stuff and has a very high tolerance takes about 60-70 mg of oxycodone for swim to get high and 40mg of this does the job
