Heroin to Suboxone

SWIM has been addicted to opiates for many years, started with Oxy, led to Heroin, been on and off methadone, maintenance and detoxed a few times before rehab. SWIM has also been on Suboxone for the last few months and has stoped taking it for a few days here and there to use dope again. He has been doing alot of dope for the last week, atleast a bundle(13 bags) a day. Starting tomm when he picks up his suboxone refill he will be done with the dope, his last use of dope will be around midnite tonite(Tuesday night). I know the sub. doctors say atleast 24 hours since your last opiate use before you come in but I think it needs to be longer than that as I have experienced horrible withdrawls taking a 8mg suboxone 24 hours after my last use. I was already in withdrawl, like they say you must be, but the suboxone just made it worse. I also saw that someone on here said up to 3 days, but by I don't think I can wait that long. I'm rambling here and hoping that someone can give me some good advice ASAP.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but bite the bullet. 3 days sounds a lot to SWIM but his experience is with subutex which doesn't contain the naloxone. Going over to subs is the right thing to do so try to go a couple of days and try again. If it's too soon then it's too late as the sub will be in SWIY and then SWIY has to do it. Tell yourself it's only 3 days, 3 little days. SWIM has faith in SWIY, he sounds like he wants it.
