Addiction - dragonflys?

swim has recently found out about this group across the states that found a way to get people addicted to meth so they can make money.... what they do is sell you ecstasy at first so you think they are a real source for ecstasy but after a few months of buying from them they will put meth pills in with your ecstasy pills so when you take them both you will still get the feeling of ecstasy but at the same time your getting addicted to the meth pills.... well in the end they tell you its meth after your real addicted to them and they invite you into the group and have you start sellin the ex and meth pills to your friends so they get addicted to it to and so on..... well swim has talked to people in a few states that also no about this and they all say that the meth pills all have a dragonfly logo.... has any1 else heard simular things?

Using logos to discriminate the contents of pills is a very misleading, and potentially dangerous practice. Pill presses come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but are very commonly sold in duplicate, meaning that many pill manufacturers could be producing pills with the same logo and different contents simply by virtue of liking the same logo. In some cases, manufacturers will intentionally mimic the style and print of other pills to help theirs sell, usually cutting them with different agents than the original pills.

There is no way for anyone here to tell you what was in your pills, and you cannot figure it out by looking at the color and print.

Come on now. This is a classic example of an internet fueled urban legend. I mean think about the details. In order for this to be true one would have to assume that a portion of the meth trade operated as an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company. Sort of the evil version of Amway.
Then it would also have to be assumed that people if they became addicted would be willing to do two things. First they would have to continue buying their meth from this source. Rather than quit or look for a different source. Second, they would have to be willing to addict their friends. Not likely, most addicts view their addiction as a form of hell.

Also what would the real financial gain be for the meth dealer? If someone wanted to sell meth they wouldn't have to trick people to boost sales. There are plenty of customers.

this is no fuckin bullshit..... some of my close friends are fuckin out there smokin meth right now because of all this shit.... they wont listen to me or no1 and they are doing whatever they have to do to continue to get this meth and they all keep talking about how unhappy they are and shit..... im just trying to find out as much as i can to see if any people from this site have heard anything like it because its fucked up when i talked to out of state people and they are tellin me the same shit

Yes there is meth in some extacy,its not a internatinal plot to get people adicted its just cheaper and easayier to make then MDMA. Tell your friends to stop spreading factless rumors and educate themselfs about drug use, This site and erowid are the 2 best resources on the net for quaility acurate drug info.

man none of you will understand all the shit i went through the past few days.... there is something going on about all of this shit and its fucked up.... i no it sounds like bullshit but it isnt, wake the fuck up...... they are doing this to people and getting them addicted to meth and not letting them stop..... i have seen so much shit over the past few days about what these people are doing and i have heard it been called the game...... a person was telling me shit about it and how he is in it and they wont let him leave, he didnt say much because he was scared i think but there is some real shit going on..... none of you have to believe me about this i could give a shit less.... i was just looking for more people who no what im talking about...... and im sorry if i sound like a dick its just i will go to any extent for my friends and family

yes your right i have never tested the pills.... but swim did take the dragonfly without mixing it with another ex pill a few times and thats why he thought the ex wasnt working for him anymore, and swim noticed the effects were much like meth, no roll or nothing like you get off of ex, and everyone i have talked to who took the dragonflys with no other pills said they didnt roll either.... also swims pupils get extremly small off of the dragonflys, no dilation or nothing like off of ex...... now i heard someone talking to one of my friends (they didnt know i was around) about how the dragonflys are realy meth..... i didnt manage to hear anything else they talked about but now that friend is smoking meth and selling ex pills in with the dragonflys to people..... i eventually confronted one of the main dudes in this and told him i knew a little whats going on and i asked him to tell me and all he said was get the fuck out of my house..... i was with my cousin when this happend and i was dropped off at home while my cousin was with his mom and they was being chased by people for 5 hours and went to the police.... this is not a little thing, its a big operation..... i talked to people in different states about it and they no about it and my cousin talked to a detective but he never told me anything about what he talked to the detective about..... even if you dont believe this is true, just be careful with ecstasy as sometimes your not always getting ex... get a pill tester please

seriously to get addicted to meth from taking meth in XTC pills you'd have to be popping a lot of pills very often. if they were smoking the pills maybe but that seems pretty unlikely. swim and his friends have willing smoked meth quite a bit and none of them have become addicted and they were smoking pure crystal most the time. its nowhere near as additive oral as it is smoking it. i swear smoking is half the addiction (and the fun).

A lot of potheads have said this about weed. Starting to think it might be true.

As for selling meth in place of MDMA, isn't that a standard practice? Meth is a lot cheaper to make, and stupid people don't know the difference. Dealers don't do this after a few months; they do this right away. The intent isn't to get you addicted, it's to sell you something that is worth a lot less than you paid. Strangely enough, contractors and car mechanics do the same thing.

swiy should analyze swiy's friends ecstasy habits, given the accepted frequency of dosing for ecstasy(once a month), there should be no possible way for people to get addicted to adulterants in ecstasy pills.
