Slow Motion: Trails

Does anyone get strong motion trails? On 2 or more hits it pleases SWIM's visual appetite, and possibly increases every time he trips. SWIM loves this timeless state of mind.

Re: Slow Motion: Trails

They are called "Tracers" and are common with LSD25 and numerous other psychedelics. What causes these critters isn't fully understood. Yet. Tell SWIM to have Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.......

And don't drive a car!

Re: Slow Motion: Trails

Swim calls this trailback and is one of swims favorite effects. Swim has had trailback so bad that when he looks at something then moves his head, the whole image smudges and everything has trailback. Swim loves being able to move his hand past his eyes and seeing 5 perfectly shaped hands of different colour, when he does this loads, he gets an image of smudged hands over everythin he looks at.

Swim believes this effect is linked to the time distorting effect of lsd, the rate at which your eyes & brain are capturing images is slowed down and speeded back up again. Its as if your eyes, brain and conciousness are all knocked out of synchronization with eachother. Thats swims theory.

Swim drove about 7 hours after dropping 3 tabs, when the peak was over. Swim felt highly confident with his driving and thinks he done a good job of it. Swim was just very scared about police.
Swim wouldnt normally drive after acid until hes has some sleep but it was an emergency (kind of). Swim always thinks how would he live with himself if he seriously injured or killed someone in an accedent because he drove under the influence.

Exactly! When SWIM skateboards around, he feels like everything is beautiful slow motion. Every time SWIM trips, he HAS to wave his arm a good amount of times...the same effect you describe, colorful slow frame-rate.

The trails are the repeaters. They teach the nature of time.

(I'm not sure what I just said...But I said it any way)

Re: Slow Motion: Trails

I am interested in the effects of “Trails” and what one would need to take in order to obtain those effects. Is LSD the best substance? I understand that this is the forum for LSD, and would also like to know the factual name of this so I could better research into this. Thank you for your help and this is my first post so I am sorry if I have broken any rules.

Re: Slow Motion: Trails

Swim believes this is called Palinopsia. From wikipedia -

'Palinopsia (Greek: palin for "again" and opsia for "seeing") is a visual disturbance that causes images to persist to some extent even after their corresponding stimulus has left. These images are known as afterimages and occur in persons with normal vision. However, a person with palinopsia experiences them to a significantly greater degree, to the point where they become difficult or impossible to ignore. This often results in mild to severe anxiety and/or depression. Palinopsia sometimes appears on its own, but is more often accompanied by other visual disturbances such as visual snow, and is frequently, though not exclusively, encountered as a symptom of hallucinogen persisting perception disorder.'.
