LoL
If it doesn't say an X amount, it could just be crushed leaves (marketing scam for standardized 1x?). Can't swim ask the person he got it from? |

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
Please read the rules and make sure not to self-incriminate.
Secondly, use the forum search engine to research the differences between extract and plain salvia leaf. We can't tell what swiy has from the sparse description provided, so either try to provide more details or have swiy check with the vendor to try and verify what he indeed purchased. |

"Standardized" is a good extract. The question is...how strong?
Does it say on the packaging how much Salvinorin A there is? The number will read in milligrams (mg). If not, than there is no way of telling other than using it. And yes, read the rules. |

If swiy bought it from a store it is probably 20x extracted. with the leaves they aren't usually as potent as the more powdery stuff. just smoke it and enjoy the fucked up trip!

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
My cat has used salvia extensively. It is pleasant to him in low doses and in high doses (with weed). As long as SWIY believes it is actually salvia my cat knows of no way without expensive equipment to test it. An email to the vendor might get SWIY the information he needs.
SWIY is not screwed by any means. My cat often smokes the raw foliage with a little weed and finds it mind blowing. |

SWIM says that he has heard that there is a company that is very reputable selling a salvia extract that is not labled as an "X" but is very strong. So SWIy might have something that is just fine.

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
Because this is an international community and salvia is illegal in certain parts.

Read the rules more closely and you will see that the reason is given.

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
It's just easier for the giraffes to moderate if we speak this way all the time about anything that COULD be illegal. That way they don't have to check where our cats are from and get into that whole mess.

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
ok i (swim) had a simple question, and now the whole topic is self incriminating. i (swim) got the point after the first 3 comments bout self incriminating. if ya see one comment about it, why post another one that says the same thing.

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
SWIY should not be angry. My cat misrepresented himself a month or so ago when he joined. Many people do.
And there has been no repetition. Each comment added different perspectives on the self-incrimination topic. If SWIY saw this for the conversation that it is rather than a reprimand he'd see that there isn't any reason for him to be angry. It is in SWIY's best interest not to incriminate himself and my cat meant no insult in it. But back to the original topic; has SWIY tried the unmarked sage, how was the experience? |

Re: what is standardized extraction as far as 10x, 20x, etc.
No need for apologies. So SWIY enjoyed her eh? Many don't. If SWIY is 'ok' with weed my cat would suggest doing a little then doing salvia once the effects take hold. Doing so brings the effects into normal experiences for several hours rather than creating an alternative reality for 15 minutes. Because my cat is extra sensitive to Sage he finds this much more pleasant.
Pleasant Tripping! |
