Drug info - Hydromorphone Hydrochloride????

My Uncles Monkey Phil just got a hold of two little round Hydromorphone Hydrochloride tablets and my uncles monkey phil wants to know the best way to take them and how long they last.

Hydromorphone
Oral: around 51.35%, some reports say 10-65% but this range is awfully wide.
Intranasal: 54.4%
Rectal: 36.33, up to 60% in the source I used.

and on wiki the half life is listed as 2-3 hours.

Swim will state that besides IV, Intranasal is SUPERIOR to Oral.

Swim states, in his experience, that 4mg Snorted=20mg Oral.

Swim believes recorded bioavailibility for hydromorphone is incorrect or inaccurate.

Swim has CYP2D6 deficiency, and even combining all common known potentiators, oral was still VERY wasteful compared to intranasal.

Swim has had difficulty in attempting rectal but hears much good about it.

And if Monkey Phil can and will do IV:
If Monkey phil is a small guy he can do 2mg with no tolerance and get glued to the couch
If monkey phil is a big guy he can do 4mg with no tolerance
If monkey phil has a tolerance he can get away with 6 to 8mg

Many people still believe the myth that the Knoll Dilaudid(Hydromorphone) tablets are the only pharmaceutical pills in the world meant for injection. This is total and utter bullshit. They are NOT made for injection, like any other pill, they're made to be swallowed. Don't IV pills. If you must, than at least use a 0,2ug wheel filter, which filters out a whole lot of binders and other gunk you don't want. Have fun with the pills, they're great fun!
