Effects - Would this san pedro preparation be effective?

1.despine the cactus
2. peel off the skin
4. cut the cactus from the core
3. use a blender to liquify it.
4 Squeeze the mush through cheesecloth, to get the liquid out, and discard the contents of the cheesecloth.
5. consume the liquid.

Would I lose much from the discarded contents?
