Effects - High from pseudoephedrine alone?

SWIM was wondering whether it's possible to get a worthwhile high from pseudoephedrine hydrochloride? SWIM wonders, as she has heard differing opinions on the matter.
SWIM has some Sinutab each containing 500mg paracetamol (aceteminophen) and 30mg of pseudoephedrine hyrdrochloride. Seeing as paracetamol isn't soluble in water and SWIM has read that pseudoephedrine hydrochloride IS soluble in water, surely cold water extraction method would work?
If so, how much is required for a decent high?
SWIM has used amphetamines before, but hasn't yet developed a high tolerance.
Thoughts on this anyone??

Yes it is.They used to have these things called mini thins that were pure pseudoephedrine.They got you high but it wasn't the pleasant euphoria of say adderall.They made swim very jittery and eventually very nauseaus and always resulted in a splitting headache.Not exactly fun stuff!

SWIM finds a pseudoephedrine high to be like a very mild dexamphetamine high with more of the undesirable physical effects than euphoria e.g. racey heartbeat, shakes, sweating and such.
That said if SWIM wanted to go out dancing and couldnt source any better drugs he feels that pseudo alone would cut it for keeping awake and any lack of euphoria would be given by the music.
Also a cold water extraction to get rid of the paracetemol should do the trick. SWIM reckons SWIY should give it a go. Just don't expect too much.

To SWISp pfed feels like ephedrine, just weaker. Basically the way Dexyfiend described.

SWISp can't compare the effects to amp's as he has little experience.

Maybe SWIOrchid_Suspiria took too much? What dosage? SWIM, who seems to be quite sensitive even had strong (side) effects from ephedra tea. Actually those can hardly be called side effects. Amphetamine mainly stimulates CNS and has less peripheral effects wheras Pfed/ephe effet the PNS much stronger.

Agree on the 'no euphoria'.

Concerning paracetamol: SWIM takes Rhinopront (made by Pfizer) which contain no PCM but an antihistaminic agent. He thiks this is a good alternative.

SWIM is not a particular fan of pseudoephedrine. He has a prescription to Adderall which is a much more powerful psycho-stimulant. In comparison to Adderall, pseudoephedrine just feels really tweaked out and a lot more disconnected to reality. SWIM gets stimulation from it, but it can be disphoric at times or just stimulating but neutral on everything else. For him, Adderall is obviously going to trump the OTC med everytime, but he understand not everyone has a prescription and that this forum is for exploring all substances. In SWIM's opinion though pseudoephedrine isn't worth the dosage necessary for recreation, and even taking those doses isn't really all that satisfying. That is obviously subjective and highly biased by his Adderall prescription, but it doesn't discount the fact that he didn't enjoy the OTC stimulant.

Thank god I'm not the only person who thinks this. There have been a few times where I've taken too much ephedrine (not pseudo) before working out, and I start acting very erratic. Those periods often included severe memory loss. It's a bit of a scary feeling once it's over, because I realize that an entire day has passed where I've had virtually no control over anything I've done.

With a nice low dosage, ephedrine and pseudoephedrine are great for lifting mood. It's not like a weird euphoria where you're off in lala land, but more like the feeling after having a really good sleep. Feel more awake, alert, willing to do things that require physical effort, willing to do tasks that require a lot of attention, and feel more ready to do things that need to be done.
Taking just 2 or 3 Sudafed pills (10mg each) can have a profound effect on the entire day. I can't say enough good things about it.

before SWIM got his adderall script SWIM had done ephedra and ephedrine before working out and just remembers a lot of tweaking(it was horrible and almost psychotic at higer doses) and thought all stimulants were like that and wondered how anyone could do coke/meth and enjoy it. but SWIM can only imagine pseudoephedrine being like that and doesn't see much pleasure in it :/.

Peph is like a shittier ephedrine. Considering ephedrine isn't very fun at all you kind of get the picture. Plus SWIY's has APAP in it so don't take to much if you were inclined to do so. Propylhexedrine is the best OTC stimulant if you don't mind the tremendous BP/HB rise and headache.

agred swim think it falls higher on on the ephora chart then addreal but low then meth

as for the BP/HB rise and headache. the all form the vascler constrtion effects swim finds a couple of dropers full of a yohimbie liuid exstrat (1:1) very effetive at perventing this but only a low dose should be taken as it can make the high a bit too jittery and it may be an a mild maoi so use at swiys own risk. swim uses this combo quit ofen (2-3 times aweek) with out any issues

My old land lord took six Sudafed brand pseudoephedrine and smoke marijuana and achieved something pleasant for a half hour or so. The synergy may remind a milk man of adderall and marijuana. Just way less fun and it doesn't last as long.
