The "E Bubble"
A while back, a pink bunny went to a new years trance feast with a bunch of friends. They were taking E (disco biscuits) There was a guy there that the pink bunny had met before, but was not attracted to.
While on the disco biscuits however, the pink bunny and the guy became infinitely attracted to each other, tripping and chatting together the whole night. By the end of it they had declared undying love for each other and were officially a couple. Their friends grinned knowingly and said they had experienced the very rare event of landing in an "e bubble" and that people who have been in an e bubble- sharing their e trip together and falling in love during the trip- often experience eternal love. A month later, however, the pink bunny realised that she actually was not really in love with this guy. It was if the bubble had virtually popped!! She consequently broke up with him. Has anyone experienced such a bubble? And do you think that experiencing feelings of love can translate into "real" love, or is it just delusions from the drug? |

Re: The "E Bubble"
I guess that bonding while on mdma is easer, as she is so open , she may allow herself to fall in love easer, and after some time realize that she doesn't like that person as much as she though.
My advice for the next time your bunny gets into a similiar situation would be to wait some time, keep seeing each other and check if you are made for each other. and not take decisions while on mdma, to avoid disapointments or hurt feelings. hex added 18 Minutes and 32 Seconds later... SWIM has experiencied something similar: He met a girl one afternoon, and kept seeing each other for a coulpe of days.. SWIM thouhg she was nothing special, that she was just another friend. Until he went raving (not with that girl) he went with his friends, during that night he couldn't stop thinking in that girl, and realized that he loved her. So next day he called her and arranged to see each other, that day she became his girlfriend. THey kept dateing out for some time, but she didn't love SWIM the way he did, and SWIM was suffering a lot, so he had to cut the relatonship. SWIM is sure that he fell in love due to E, because it was that same night when he realised he was in love, it's like E lowered his barriers and allowed him to fall in love with a girl he barely knew. Re: The "E Bubble"
swim thinks that sometimes mdma causes such strong feelings of love that they are often directed at the first person swim sees or thinks about.
mdma is not a replacement for the long time it gets to know a person and fall in love with them... but it does help to break down barriers and inhibitions and allow swim to get to know a person quicker because shyness etc is taken away |

Re: The "E Bubble"
Leo Zeff First used MDMA in psychotherapy sessions. This included marriage counseling, wherein couples would take it and "bond" to benefit their relationship.
![]() SWIM has, and has known many, many people who get this "E bubble". His mates have even gone so far as to apoint a sober individual to prevent undesired hooking-up in some instances. |

Re: The "E Bubble"
I'm reading ecstasy: The MDMA Story by Bruce Eisner. In it Timothy Leary tells a similar story.
He was having dinner with Barbara and they both chased their meal with E. They understand each other and feel everything is perfect and caress. Three days later they were married. Leary says some people have termed XTC as "instant marriage syndrome". He says people who don't know each other well activate the love-empathy circuits in the brain and soon after get married. Although they may have been in love for a time, the relationship may not be practical or right. He says "You might call it a cosmic summer romance". He also says that in Boulder, Colorado it got so bad that T-shirts and bumper stickers were printed saying "Don't get married for six weeks after XTC!" (Summarized from pages 48-50) |

Re: The "E Bubble"
SWIM has always recommended that couples do ecstasy if they want to put there relationship in overdrive but obviously sometimes people are not ready for that level of commitment.
