Combinations - Amphetamines - Alprazolam

SWIM has been prescribed Xanax (alprazolam), and has found it very useful in conjunction with Adderall (amphetamines).

Favorite Two Methods:

Method One: Benzo-Speed Synergy

0:00 - SWIY swallows 40 mg Adderall XR.

1:00 - SWIY swallows 1 mg of Alprazolam (Xanax)

5:00 being adderall xr is time release another alprazolam dose in needed to prolong the synergy.

Effects:

Once the both drugs are working the effects are quite enjoyable.

SWIY are relatively calm, have the ability to sit still and chat. No tension associated with amps. However the energy are is still there, and very strong. The euphoria is not tainted by the bad symptoms of amps.
No paranoia or hyper activity. There is no tension, less tongue biting and jaw clenching. Its literally like having a switch between benzo and speed. You could clean your house the entire time, or calmly watch a movie and be fully fascinated with out the need for more stimulation,

In conclusion the effects are the positive effects of each chemical, and taken together they cancel out all negative effects.

Method 2: Curing the Amp crash with Alprazolam

- 0:45 before expected crash- take alprazolam.

0:00 If crash is felt, take another dose of alprazolam.

+0:30 Still unable to sleep, take a small dose of diphenhydramine with a very small dose of alprazolam.


SWIM's Experience he was nice enough to allow me to post.

I. 0:00 Ingest 2 Tagamet* HB200 tablets with a full glass of water on an empty stomach. (Increase blood levels of both chemicals)

II. 0:05 Start drinking coffee, perhaps half a pot, I use a full pot (gives an extra boost of non euphoric energy)

III. 0:45 Take Adderall.

IV. 1:45 Take alprozolam

V. 4:00 Adderall XR is extended release, re dosing of Alprazolam may be needed to continue the synergy.

VI. 7:30 to avoid a nasty adderall crash take Tagamet HB 200 (400 mg) in preparation for dosing with Alprazolam later for potentiating effects to lessen the crash.

VII. 8:15 Ingest 1 - 2 mg of alprazolam and 50 mg of Diphenhydramine,

Swim also finds the synergy between amphetamines and benzodiazepines to be a wonderful time!!! However swim usually saves his benzo scripts for the crash which is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE for swim!!! Swim has been RX'ed Xanax (alprazolam) 1.5mgs a day and Klonazepam (Klonopin) 4mgs a day for about 5 months and would occasionally get some amps or focalin to motivate him sinve he has ADHD. Swim was in today for a refill on his meds and was RX'ed 30mgs of adderall (20mgs in the morning and 10mgs in the afternoon... Swim will mostly use the adderall by itself saving benzos for the crash but occasionally will combine 2-4mgs Klonopin with 60-120mgs for a GREAT recreational experience! However for a regular day swim will take either just the initial 20mg dose or the 20mills followed by his 10mgs...

Swim is very excited as he has a VERY, VERY DIFFICULT time waking up and getting motivated to work as it has always been for swim but especially bad since being addicted to opiates!!! Swim would usually take between 80-140mgs of oxycodone a day or 50-60mgs of methadone but swim has been clean since starting suboxone 4 months ago!!! So this RX is a major positive for swim and also a major test of will-power!!! Well swim is zooting right now so is going to browse the forums!!!

In Swim's experience, amphetamines have WAY more addiction potential than opiates. Maybe that it just Swim though.

Swim has felt that coke was the most addicting drug he has tried thus far. With coke, he soon finds himelf looking for any traces of powder in the baggie and licking the table hoping to get a few more grains. With opiates, he doesnt get that intense craving. When on an amp crash, swim actually swears to himself to never take them again but he always ends up takign some a little down the road.

Swim acts EXACTLY like above poster, but with amphetamine and not coke.

That's why he limits use to almost never.

Never fiends with opiates.

Personally do not understand how people get addicted to opiates. Only speedy things make Swim fiend.

Swim wanted to mix alprazolam with amphetamine the other day, but was worried about having nasty effects, or getting amnesia.

uppers.. are a different kind of addiction it is almost instant and mainly psychological.. where as opiates are a slow process and a physical and mental addiction... swim will eventually get used to having a soft shade over reality.

opiates have made SWIMs life heaven and hell but now SWIM just has 20mg adderall 2x daily and 2mg xanax 3x daily prescribed sometimes taken sometimes less is taken but it is the perfect combo for what ails SWIM. SWIM just refilled both today and took 1 of each after he walked out the door,(throwing away the bag & sticking the pamphlets in his newspaper) SWIM ate as he waited for his scripts to be filled so he had a nice size breakfast at the donut shop next door.

his walk home was nice which took 15minutes give or take, SWIM does not have a watch atm and by the time he got home he took a shower had a glass of OJ and spoke to his mother and she agreed he was acting better than recently because SWIM was an idiot going through opiate trouble selling off his scripts or trading them off.

SWIM knows now how stupid that was from the weeks of withdrawals cold turkey from mainly hydromorphone/heroin but opiates in general.

but back to the main story. SWIM is able to concentrate and even without his xanax in conjunction with the adderall the adderall works very well and does not give him panic attacks, its just that anxiety will sometimes jump through plus SWIMs insomnia is unbearable.

its a great combo if it works right for you but I have heard it is a rare combination to have prescribed so maybe it does not work well for many or maybe too many people who actually need it or maybe not just suck at getting it from whom ever gives them their prescriptions. or maybe they shouldn't have it SWIM does not know

SWIM only knows he was 1st given anti depressants/psychotics and went through hell but was given xanax at 1mg as well as a back up medication because SWIM had a panic attack and was given a blue football which cured him in 15min and SWIM and his mother were amazed. After SSRI and etc hell SWIM went with just xanax and was diagnosed with adult ADHD and has taken adderall and Desoxyn.

SWIM finds Desoxyn and Xanax the better choice but SWIM is without insurance for the time being and can only afford adderall which SWIM has said in another post is working a lot better than when he first had it RXed b4 he had Desoxyn.

SWIM keeps babbling so SWIM will say that xanax + adderall makes him feel great, happy, social, focused and calm and ready to do anything the world can throw at him.


SWIM is happy.

be very careful this is how swim felt when he discovered the nice and cheap world of xanax. Xanax addiction starts out fun and better than opiates.. but its way worse withdrawls.
