Injecting - No register IV xanax swollen vein!!!! urgent

Swim just erased his 1st post on accident!!!
Swim came home determined to IV xanax and crushed, added water, boiled, stirred, repeated over and over until clean crystal clear solution was in barrel
Swim stuck himself in the spot he uses most frequently but could get NO BLOOD just air!!!!
He kept puishin the air out and re stickin himself about a half dozen times even in 2 different veins and no register!!!
He knows he hit the vein!!!
Was the needle clogged???
Is there something that could be making swim unable to register??? He got blood in the barrel the lat time but couldn't register!!! He knew he was in a vein so pushed 3/4ths of it into his vein and it swelled up huge like it did a while back!!!
Swim really needs advice as to what caused him to not be able to register? Do veins callas and make it unusable anymore? Swims only IV'ed maybe a dozen times?? Please someone help swim figure out what went wrong??? Now he has a hard bump at the injection site! Please any answers!!!!

If there was no blood then you did not register which is why your arm is swollen - you missed completely.

Sometimes anxiety can make a vein extremely hard to find.

Use a warm compress and if the swelling doesn't go down seek medical attention.

Swim thinks he may have collapsed a vein or somrthing cause he hit the vein spot on!!! He just went to his room to look at the needle and when swim pulls back the plunger as if you were to register it sux itself back in. The vein is just swollen and swim used HOT wayer to take down the swelling and help avoid pain!!! Swim just doesn't know what to do anymore!!! He's on alprazolam and clonazepam but it just seems to be too little of scripts? Swim is gonna see his sub dr. on the 20th so he can get somemore klonopins!! Swim has like 25 2mg klonopins and like 17 alprazolam .5mgs, and a couple 10mg diazepam. He really just feels like a large dissapointment to himself!! This is something he's going to have to work out!!! He thinks it's time to call IV drug use QUITS!!!

I'm not sure why you are so certain you hit the vein spot on, if there was no blood then you missed or have a faulty needle. Injecting pills is dangerous anyway, even after filtering many times. SWIY could always try plugging if you think you will run out early, or make an urgent appointment to see your Dr and be honest with him/her. I would suggest the latter due the desperation in your post.

Don't get down on yourself, many people have benzo addictions and running out early is not a safe option.

Swim isn't addicted to benzos. He just truly finds them to be the only thing that takes away his anxiety problems; besides opiates of course. He skips a few days in between doses as to not get dependant on benzos. Next month he will use them ONLY as a last resort to calm swimself down!

Regarding the injection a piece of xanax got stuck in the needle blocking way for blood to come in he assumes? When he looks at the rig now, like he said he pulls back the plunger and it doesn't stay pulled back!!! There is some sort of vacuum effect sucking the plunger right back down!!! Swim was using an Oasis 3 unit, 25gauge, 1/2 " and he wonders if some of the needles aren't bad? He might go up to tje local CVS and pick up some BD ultra fines or something? HE isn't a regular IV user by anymeans but wants to be safe if he does IV!!!

OH yeah the swelling is gone and swim definately felt the xanax hit his blood instantly as he was suddenly CALM! Anymore insight as to what went wrong that night would be appreciated greatly!!!

SWIY didn't filter the xanax properly, but xanax pills aren't made for injecting so you can never be certain you have completely filtered out anything that hasn't dissolved anyway. Try using a wheel filter and if it happeens again, empty the syringe and start again with a new needle.

Swim thanks swilostgurl greatly! He figured he must not have filtered the xanaxc properly and some got caught in the needle and would not allow to pull blood in but could be forced OUT into swims bloodstream!!! Damn swim feels stupid now!!! He will def not IV benzos anymore unless it's an injectable solution!!! Be safe all!!!! bdb1

Today swim has been stressed because of his little brother stealing almost all of his benzos!!! Last night is when swim realised that they were gone. Even though swim is on suboxone swim decided to IV 20mgs oxycodone. He had been thinking maybe he had a collapsed vein or something... Well the process went smooth as butter hit the vein first try registered perfectly so he was kind of happy he can still inject in his 2 good spots!!! He actually did get a buzz off of it so the subs don't completely block the receptors.

So today swim thought I'll give that benzo IV 1 last try? He did the whole process perfectly! Clean equipment, cooked and filter repeated twice and was left with a completely clear solution so thought "hell yeah finaaly it's gonna work!!!". Well he drew up in the syringe and it pulled back in with that vacuum shit again so he knew that particular barrel was junk and tossed it. So he pulls a new barrel and 25gauge 1/2" needle out and draws it back up into the rig, no vacuum; "yes!!!" Well he went in the vein knows he hit it cause it was right where he hit last night and when he went to register all he got was a vaccum sort of effect. He has finally realised IV benzos is just not going to happen unless he can get his hands on an ampoule??? THinks to himself. haha But he is wondering what is it thats making him unable to register with benzos??? There is NO WAY he had a piece of pill in there!!! He is wondering if from cooking it what sits in the head of the needle doesn't start to resolidify causing blockage?

Anyways he just wonders what the hell it is keeping him from being able to register! He IS NOT trying to find a way to IV these pills as obviously it will NOT work he just wants to know whats happening here??? Any answers would be greatly appreciated as swim cannot figure it out!!!!!!!! He is satisfied that he knows now it CANNOT be done though!!! Reassurance!!! Any answers appreciated!!! bdb1

Swim was just looking at his arm and noticed where he usually injects about 5 inches upwards (the way blood flows) he has red splotches!!! His arm does not hurt but he was just reading on another forum about a guy who had red splotches and it was an infection from IV use!!! Swim wonders if this is the body naturally fighting infection or what? Please swim needs an answer as soon as possible!!!

^Stop shooting fucking benzos! They are not even water soluble. Do your veins, lungs, liver and blood vessels a rest stop doing that shit. I get 90 kpin/month and use them responsibly, as prescribed.
