Combinations - mix fentanyl patch with crack

would it be safe if after daily crack smoking for awhile my buddy swim put on a fentanyl patch to come down? i should also mention that theres a chance that he could smoke more crack tomorrow afternoon………if it is safe for him to use the patch to come down should he take the patch off if he smokes more or is it safe to mix the two?

the patch is 100mcg/hr and swim would put half of it on, so 50mcg?

no this would not be very safe, even if the patch is properly used, ie transdermal. too many variables to even try to calculate a "safe zone".
the speedball like interaction of crack cocaine and a strong opiod such as fentanyl could be very dangerous, especially with the high cocaine / blood concentrations that smoing freebase cocaine gives.
