S.W.I.Y's fondest memory while high?

S.W.I.M doesn't mean your best/most intense high, rather an event or situation that stays with you?

S.W.I.M's is probably smoking a heap of cones with a few close friends and going driving, all over the road, in the wrong lane and shit like that. S.W.I.M was in the passenger seat and it was awesome :laugh.

Sounds dangerous Definitely something I wouldn't enjoy.

One of swim's coolest memories is from an LSD trip. Him and his brother were tripping on his apartment's balcony (making themselves really comfortable with soft chairs, 2 packs of ciggarettes, tea, coffee, music, the works). During the trip they had "befriended" a white balloon, that is they inflated it and gave it a meaning etc - it was a real symbol, though I can't remember of what exactly, but it was really significant.
Then as they were coming down they decided to let the balloon drop from the balcony as a symbol of closure and descent from the divine. They watched the balloon drift away.
About 2 hours later they went for a post-trip walk. They found the same balloon, live and well, under a bush and they later took it back home :P

Was really weird . . . they really felt for the balloon, empathy at its highest.

What exactly makes this memory fond? The fact that you could have died or worse killed somebody else? Just because you weren't driving doesn't exempt you from blame.

I am fond of the memory because it was fun and thrilling.

I have to agree with ~lostgurl~ here. That's ridiculous behaviour. I'm not going to crusade against people who smoke and drive as many cannabis apologists do. I know fully well that many people can drive under the influence of cannabis without causing any harm and in many cases it's a risk blown entirely out of proportion. Unfortunately however, some clown will always come along and spoil everything. That clown appears to be SWIY and their buddies.

Jeez, so many people on this Forum have done far worse things while on drugs... I've read atleast 20 posts where driving on one substance or another is mentioned, yet they aren't frowned upon...

Incase you didn't read correctly, I wasn't the driver and our intention was not to go on the roads to be a menace, we simply felt like going for a cruise and then the driver decided to screw around. Sorry for being a passenger?

Anyway, how about you make a post on topic?

NOTE: I didn't just mean while high on cannabis, I meant any drug.

SWIM's fondest memories also revolve around getting stoned....going back a long time now...almost ten years ago when SWIM was seventeen/eighteen....SWIM's friend had a mini-clubland and the two of them painted it red, yellow and green one weekend converting it into the 'rasta-mini' - it looked wicked by the way...SWIM has a picture of it somewhere and will try and upload it sometime for SWIY's to see...SWIM and friends had no-where to get stoned except in the car so admittedly they did a lot of stoned driving but it never seemed dangerous to them at the time (SWIM might add that she is older and wiser now so no lectures please)...thing is when you're drunk and get behind the wheel of a car (which SWIM has NEVER done), you probably feel super-confident and therefore drive like an idiot (SWIM has lost three friends through their stupidity by drink-driving), whereas when you're stoned your very aware of the fact that you're stoned and paranoia is more likely to make you cautious....SWIM and co. were more likely to get pulled over for driving under the speed limit if anything (crawling along at 3mph). SWIM remembers being in the rasta-mini one day (they'd been parked up for a while getting high)...when her friend decided to go 'off-road'....driving through bushes and the like...they emerged from the undergrowth only to be confronted with an off-duty police-officer walking his dog who stopped them to enquire what the f*?k they thought they were doing...lol....he pointed to a sign that had a picture of a motorbike with a cross through it and said 'do you know why there is a sign up there saying no motorbikes and not one saying no cars?'...'er..no' they replied...'well that's because we didn't thing anyone would be stupid enough to drive a car up here'...........oh, how we laughed....
