Tolerance - SWIM Already Opiod Tolerant?

Swim has heard that the tolerance builds quickly, but SWIM is surprised. His experiences with opiods started a little under 2 months ago. He would use promethazine with codeine about once a week. This trend continued for about a month and a half until SWIM broke his ankle two weeks ago. He probably popped maybe like 6 vicodins(10mg of hydro at a time) in the span of about a week and a half. Well yesterday swim acquired some Norcos which are 10mg of hydro a pill so the same as the vicodin. He took one pill and barely felt anything but still felt the tired after effect. Today SWIM took 2 tums(they were some new smoothie kind so maybe they don't work) which supposedly potentiate the effect took another and felt a little bit light-headed but didn't really get that opiate buzz.

Anyways just wanted to share because this surprised SWIM. He didn't think that a tolerance would build this fast. Also about how long until the tolerance goes back down?
