Piracetam and Ayahuasca?
Any experience combining these? SWIM is hoping to try an ayahuasca brew composed of P. Viridis and caapi.
He takes piracetam (probably around 4 400mg doses a week on average). SWIM was wondering if the piracetam would potentiate the hoasca and would be a good thing to take before imbibing the brew, or if he should abstain from piracetam for a bit. |

Re: Piracetam and Ayahuasca?
SWIM hasn't tried the combination so the following may very well be useless for SWIY.
Anyways, he has found that piracetam potentiates most drugs for him. He used LSD, mushrooms, cannabis, stimulants and MDMA on different occasions in a period while on a daily regiment of piracetam and experiented some potentiating effects on all of them. Piracetam doesn't 'color' the experiences much but seem to amplify the charateristic effects of other drugs be it stimulant or psychedelic. He was particularly of using it as a 'trip-booster' for cannabis and LSD, and the only substance he found it didn't boost the effects of was ketamine, where it seems to work the opposite way, negating the mental effects of the ketamine more or less completely. SWIM is pretty much certain it will potentiate SWIY's aya brew, but is not of the opinion that ayahuasca usually needs potentiation. If it does maybe SWIY should add a few more grams of the aya plants to the mix for the next brew instead. |
