5 vicodin

swim took 5 500mg vicodin saturday night and then drank 2 beers and a
few shots of tequila. swim said it felt nice until about 2 hours into
it and then he thought he was going to die. he never threw up. today a girl told him that she took 4 and that made her threw up all
night. is swim really tolerant to drugs or did he just get really
really lucky? <!--

eh its not necessarily tolerance itsmore just your reaction. from opiates (and all drugs i suppose) people get diff. reactions and side effects worse than others. from opiate some ppl get horrible itchies, while others get them to a minimal. some people get nausea while others dont get it quite as bad. but i wouldn't take vic's and drink, taking the asprin in the vikes is already not good for your liver andalcohol can make that so much worse..so i'd say that your just lucky u didnt get sick from that or damage your liver.

that vicodin contains 500mg of asprin, which in combination with
alcohol probably upset your stomach more than the hydrocodon in it.
don't drink with vics.

SWIM here has taken 3 vicodens and then drank a lil, but it was about a shot once. then another time with three he drank a 1/2 pint of 99 bananas... bad news, he was wicked drunk had court the next day and ended up running out of the court clerks office to puke in the bathroom, last time SWIM touched vicoden... but he's learned vic's + alcohol = bad unless you drink the smallest bit of alcohol

all, he never itches and swim isnt affected at all by pot which is why

Anyway, I'd try not to drink on vicodin... my cousin's boyfriend died after taking seven or eightvics and five shots of Skyy.

I tell all my friends to not drink with vicodin, but no one listens. I mean, shit, I know it messes up your liver, but even I still drink with the hydros. I like the feeling. It sucks, my livers probably worse than my grandpas....

<DIV>I think taking 1 pill or maybee 2 with alcohol works out pretty nicely, especially if its beer. Definitely a real nice body buzz and laid back feeling. These being the 5mg/500 acetaminophen ones. When i have more than 2 vikes i get quite itchy and feel sick for a little bit, almost like a real drunken state where your spinning and what not, definitely not fun. After the puking feeling goes away its pretty nice, but i also have noticed a couple little allergic bumps that have formed so that is not exactly good. I'm curious if anyone knows how bad it is to take just1 pill with alcohol, that is if it is bad at all. I know that alcohol inhibits an enzyme that breaks down the acetaminophen which causes build up of the toxic metabolite causing the liver damage. I've heard this usually happens when someone has ahigh concentration of alcohol in their body (usually alcoholics). It doesn't seem like taking 3 or 4 pills would cause any damage either, because from what i've heard the toxic metabolite is not a problem being removed normally, its when alcohol is involved there are problems.</DIV>

When I was 14 and stupid I found a bottle of 40 vikes. For some reason
I assumed that anything pharmacuticle would be week, so I took the
whole bottle. I didn't know what an od was then, but I'm sure thats
what happened. I got a headach, my whole body hurt, and I kept throwing
up for about 6 hours. Pure hell.

Vicodin contains acetominophen, not aspirin. Acetominphen is metabolized by your liver so when you combine it with alcohol it is more streeful for your liver. The official recommendation is if you regularly consume 3 or more alcoholic beverages/day do not take acetominophen (Tylenol) or products that contain acetominophen like Vicodin/Lortab.

As far as nauses is concerned opiates have a common side effect of nausea, itching, and constipation.

I used to be the vike king. I found out early in the game that drinking while on vicodin is the wrong answer. I never threw up but I always felt like I was going too. Also, why is everyone always talking about taking 500mg like it's a lot? I used to take like 1500mg.

What I wonder is why everyone insists on saying "I took 4 500 milligram vicodins". No, you took 4 5/500 milligram vicodins, or 20 milligrams of hydrocodone. It should be common sense if you know alittle about pills. If you don't know about them, maybe you should research alittle before you just throw back any ol' pill into your gut.
