Health - So if cannabis is so harmless...?

I mentioned this in another thread but got to thinking and I believe the question deserves it's own thread.

Before I begin let me assure you I agree that in comparison even to alcohol pot is relatively harmless. I am also fully pro drug legalization across the board and at least pro decriminalization. I am smart enough to realize that prohibition is futile and that what is legal can at least be taxed and regulated.

That said I ask you.....Emplore you, would you be ok with the surgeon who was about to perform a delicate surgery on you taking a few bong his prior to the operation? How about the guy working on the airliner you and your whole family is about to trust their lives to? How about the guys taking care of the nuclear missiles near your home? I could think of many other examples, but you get the point. While I am ok with the average joe toking up, and perhaps even driving while stoned (provided that he doesnt get in an accident), I think that even the average pothead would agree that there are som e people that just shouldnt be smoking weed.
